Can't bear 2toGo - please go! Can't stand Steve either - not sexy, c*ap voice, don't like G4 - totally agreed with SC's comments about their song last week - it was just odd! Quite like Cassie, don't like Tabby, Rowetta's ok. Not sure about VWS. I'll go with ds' opinion - last week he said they were all bad except Cassie.

I think it will be Tabby and Rowetta in the final and then the public will have to vote btw Simon and Sharon so probably Tabby will win.

I hope Tabby doesn't win, I don't like him much (probably the dirty pants thing!). 2 to go remind me too much of Peters and Lee (anyone remember them?) - and they were a bit naff too! Steve - sex on a stick, I agree. But can he sing? I still need convincing. Cassie - lovely voice but nothing else there, no emotion; she's just too young to have lived a bit. Rowetta - now here's someone who's been round the block a few times, and it comes across in her voice. She could win it. G4 - great voices, and until I just hearcd about El Divo or whatever they're called I thought G4 were a bit different. Not so sure now. Voices with Soul - sorry, but they're let down by their size, just a bit too big. Mind you, they can belt out a song. I'd give them an outside chance.

I don't think that vws' size should influence things. When they originally appeared they looked terrible, but it's amazing what a bit of styling will do. What ought to matter is if the singer(s) gives you goosepimples. Try not to think Michelle McManus, think more Reuben Stuttars (American Idol - doing very well).

Really hope G4 win! Or Rowetta. I think Tabby will do really well but i dont think he will win - he is too "rocky" and not enough "mainstream" for the sat night audience. Remember Peter from Fame Academy??

I thought Steve and Rowetta were both brilliant tonight. I've never liked him before, and I don't particularly like Shirley Bassey, who Rowetta reminds me of, and Louis said the same tonight.

Everyone one else was ordinary. Even Voices with Soul who are normally brilliant.

God I hope those boring barber shop boys go. Or Peters and Lee - dull dull dull.

Saw it for the first time since the heats so don't really know too much about the acts. Have to say I haven't been blown away by any of them but thought Steve was pretty good and I could see what they were going on about with Rowetta but personally I'm not keen on the sound of her voice.

Rowetta was great, the others so-so. Is anyone else getting completely p*ssed off with Louis Walsh? I know Simon Cowell can be utterly tactless, but I do actually agree with most things he said (esp. tuning tonight!) - but LW just rebuts everything he says, interrupting him, and not listening to what he actually says! He really put his foot in it tonight about Peter though!
Thought G4 were dire tonight btw! They can certainly sing, but really should choose more carefully their song - I know it is chosen for them, but I would have thought particularly after Darius that song wasn't going to work! Like SC said, Lion King, Bohemian Rhapsody yes, Britney Spears, NO!!!

The thing about Simon Cowell, is that he's honest and truthful. Sometimes, people need to be told the truth and it's just not helpful to be complimented and gee'd along rather than told the bald truth. Everything he said tonight was true. And interestingly, as regards his client (Steve) he listened to a comment by another judge and acted on it, to the advantage of his client. I thought Steve sounded better tonight than I've ever heard him - before, he was OK, but tonight, he had the X factor!

If you were about to pay £80 for an outfit that made you look like a fat old piece of mutton, which friend do you think would be doing you the favour? The one who told you how awful you looked, and to put it back on the hanger, and helped you choose something better, or the one who said, yeah it looks great, and let you go out and humiliate yourself in it?

Maybe I'm very thick skinned, but I would always, always, always prefer the truth, even when I feel too delicate to face it!
