10 Years Younger In 10 Days anyone?

I've just discovered this and it's been my "background telly" this weekend. I used to watch it back in the day, but I was young then. Now I'm older, it's really struck me how much emphasis there is on looking younger.

Listening to the women's stories I wish they'd make it, "Feel 10 Years Younger In 10 Days"!

@PaulaPennyfeather there is such a back story to the hair! I was one of the friends on the reveal!

Can't help thinking that getting her hair done and putting in some makeup would have had exactly the same effect. Just make the effort everyday like millions of us do.

What's interesting is how much kinder it is than the old series.
Dd & I watched a few recently and the old presenter was absolutely vicious, some of her comments to the women were shocking!

Cherry is a lovely presenter I think. And very honest about the things she's had done in order to look as she does.

I missed last nights end bit. Does anyone have a picture of what they both looked like after the transformation?

Let's just say the production team were not happy about her wanting to keep her hair grey.

That hairdresser guy, can't remember his name, is absolutely lovely. He came in and talked to us (the friends) before filming. He looks even better than he does on TV, couldn't believe his age!

My favourite bit is when they reveal her new age! Which is her actual age! She so wasn't pleased!

We were laughing like mad when we all watched it together last night.

I bet she’s glad of the new teeth, but I hope she’s disregarded the fashion ‘advice’ she received - there be dragons…

I don't see why they can't combine the Hollywood styling showstopper with a day to day version?

It annoyed me that they dressed the man cool and casual but all the women are like a dog’s dinner. Lynn (?) seemed lovely but that outfit actually aged her - she looked much better in the stills with her husband.

Thank god someone else agrees with me. The stylist and hair and make up makes these women like 80s drag queens. They look awful rather than attractive and natural. They look like old hags out on the town in a very downmarket area

Just catching up on the last two episodes. Taryn didn't look old for her years. That girl passing comment "she blends in, she doesn't stand out im any way" when she was dressed exactly the same as Taryn.

All she needed was a good haircut and colour and subtle makeup. She actually looked better before the makeover.

Ooh, here we go again. Prepare to be boggled!
