A thread for those watching Season 4 of the Handmaid's Tale on Channel 4 starting this evening. There's another thread for those who have already streamed it via Hulu, so it would be good if we could keep this one free of spoilers for episodes beyond those Channel 4 has broadcast.

Also confused about why they are safe of they are still in Gilead. I'm sure I've seen the farmer girl in something before but scared to Google incase it brings up spoilers.

They're 'safe' for now.

The girl has spent too much time alone being abused on that farm. Explains the bitterness.

I think Commander keys is also anti Gilead and is a contact of Commander Warren?

Do you mean Commander Lawrence? Warren was the commander who Janine lived with and had baby Angela/Charlotte.

Ok so they’re not safe. They’re just safe for now until it’s safe for them to try and move. They can’t move right now as they are being searched for and they’d be very obvious. They need a plan and presumably some intel on where is safe to move to.

The actress for Mrs Keyes was in The Haunting of Hill House. And a billion other things but that's the only one I've seen. She looks a bit like the actress in the new(ish) Sabrina series on Netflix too.

I am not sure what Commander Keyes is actually a commander of. I think he is possibly a bit senile, surely no commander would want his wife raped by other commanders and eyes. Perhaps he has been put out to pasture as an embarrassment toGilead,
