Just that really.

Is there another good police program? I'm only really just getting my evenings back with a baby who has struggled to settle a while. I need new TV viewing Grin

I have Netflix, Amazon prime and the usual catch-up channels - BBC, ITV, channel 4.

Thanks

Unforgotten is brilliant. Latest series on ITV, older series on Netflix

namcybotwinbloom · 15/06/2021 19:24

What's unforgetten about?

Bsmirched · 15/06/2021 19:26

No Offence is excellent.

Toolateplanting · 15/06/2021 19:28

Definitely unforgotten that got me through LOD withdrawal.
State of play (on bbc) is good

AuntieStella · 15/06/2021 19:29

What's unforgetten about?
The investigations that ensue when remains from decades ago are found

The first three that sprang to my mind are the three first mentioned on the thread.

I really liked Happy Valley. And I really liked LOD.

sometimescharlottesometimesnot · 15/06/2021 19:35

Time. Just been on.not police but prison. ,was excellent. .only 3 episodes though..Sean Bean and Stephen Graham (bbc)

AuntMasha · 15/06/2021 19:38

‘Time’ is excellent. Just watched the final episode last night.

Ameanstreakamilewide · 15/06/2021 19:41

Unforgotten is excellent.

I was blown away by it.

Crowsaregreat · 15/06/2021 19:41

We watched all of LOD and went straight on to Lupin (Netflix). It's in French but you can watched it dubbed or with subtitles. It's like a modern Sherlock Holmes set in Paris. He's a 'gentleman thief' who only robs the rich, politely!

Also BBC documentary series about real life 1970s police corruption that line of duty is based on.

namcybotwinbloom · 15/06/2021 19:45

Thanks I am going to add those to my list!

namcybotwinbloom · 15/06/2021 19:45

I watched two episodes of time. It's really good.

namcybotwinbloom · 15/06/2021 19:46

Save me. Is really good too. It's not told from the police point of view, it's the dad doing the investigating.

sometimescharlottesometimesnot · 15/06/2021 19:46

Life on Mars, if you haven't seen it already . re watched it recently still brilliant! second series ashes to Ashes is good to.

Campervan69 · 15/06/2021 19:47

Unforgotten is the best thing I've seen in ages.
Also love Homeland.

It’s so good isn’t it. We loved it.
madroid · 15/06/2021 20:04

Scott and Bailey. Old 1990s? TV series. Was brilliant! Two hard bitten women cops in Manchester. Sally Wainwright was the writer. They were repeated on itv 3 during lockdown and kept me sane.

winesolveseverything · 15/06/2021 20:13

Unforgotten- Netflix.

I absolutely loved this. Watched it twice- just as good 2nd time round!

Eileen101 · 15/06/2021 20:17

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions. Have just switched unforgotten on Grin

Place marking as I'm going through the same withdrawal

Buggerthebotox · 15/06/2021 21:18

Prime Suspect is good (if probably a little dated). Bent Coppers - Crossing the Line of Duty is good if you like docu stuff.
I think the only prog to come close to LOD is Happy Valley.

Time has Stephen Graham aka Corbett, Brian McCardie aka Tommy Hunter and the Tranter actor whosename I can't quite remember.

I haven't seen This is England as a recommendation - rather grim and sweary - but has SG, Vicky McClure and the Lomax actor in it. Brilliant and gritty.

God I miss LOD. Sad
