Just that really.

Is there another good police program? I'm only really just getting my evenings back with a baby who has struggled to settle a while. I need new TV viewing Grin

I have Netflix, Amazon prime and the usual catch-up channels - BBC, ITV, channel 4.

Thanks

Money heist on Netflix is not really a police drama, but the investigating officer is key. It’s very good. And Spanish!

Luther. Loved it. And Lupin

I know people have recommended Time the prison drama with Sean Bean and Stephen Graham.
I saw/read a preview which made it sound quite grim and depressing.
Is that correct or is it still watchable?

Cormoran Strike. Brilliant. And written by JK Rowling!

GrimDamnFanjo · 16/06/2021 00:53

The Shield? US drama but very compelling with police corruption at the centre.

It is grim and depressing and hard to watch but absolutely fantastic. Best thing I've seen in so long

The Shield, The Wire

Yes to both. It's ok though, but I'm in the minority as I thought it was only ok. They mumbled so much I had to put subtitles on! A first for me! In places I thought the script was so weak it was pathetic. There were elements of it that I just found too unbelievable and I found that far too distracting.

Cardinal on iplayer. It has the same bleak but close knit community vibe as mare of East town (set in Canada)

The Tunnel. French and English police working together. Absolutely brilliant (and most of the others already mentioned especially No offence and Unforgotten.) We've just started watching Luther which is good too.

Ozark, it’s on Netflix - recommend!
