Well mats and Barbara sort of gave Rafa a cake in the cube (although I don’t think Rafa was really there!) They also blew blowy things but Rafa said he didn’t want any celebrations as he’s 35! (Just wait until you’re nearly 30 years older than that Rafa!)

Morning all. I'm still feeling ab it rough- no idea what is wrong, but I feel really tired. Great half term this turning into (not that we planned to do anything).

I'm still cross Rafa didn't get a cake.

Very interesting first match up between My mate Casper- and my other 'one to watch' Davidovich Fokina. I tihnk Ruud should win it, but it might be close.
Nishikori plays Laaksonen, who beat RBA- don't know much about him, but apparently he likes clay.
Tsitsipas is the 'night match' - but against Isner. Which makes me less inclined to want to watch.

But there's always dancing carwashes.

Morning! Bit of a slow start this morning - too much excitement last night!

On paper there don’t seem to be too many exciting matches today but you never know - Medvedev/Opelka might be an interesting watch - I wonder if Opelka is still wearing his beach bum kit?
