Well, I got to watch a bit of the match tonight , but got totally sidetracked with knitting , which seemed more interesting. ( plain stocking stitch , so no problem keeping up with a good match) . Says it all for me really

Morning all.

Well, what will today bring? An early match for Sascha, and a late one for Medvedev. Possibly not as easy for Medvedev as his opening match- although Tommy Paul had a really long first round match.

Nishikori/Khachanov could be a good one-he's still a fighter on clay, Nishikori.

All depends on how long I stay awake. -the dog woke me up at 2.30. I think it might be the weather .

A code violation right at the start of the Sascha match is not a great start .

Jim and Fabrice, just acknowledging that they are wittering away to themselves there, and not really watching the match.

Not sure how much tennis I’ll see today so relying on here for important updates (on kit and ramblings etc )

I think Sascha got told off at the start of his last match for being late to the coin toss but was unrepentant!

Carla's match was really emotional- it's lovely that she was able to play.

In kit watch, Fizzy , Sascha is playing Russian Safiullin (a contemporary of Medvedev etc, but he's not progessed as fast- played Sascha as a junior)- he appears to be wearing the Nike bee shorts.

Hopefully, he will have made enough money from this run in the tournament to update his kit .

It's a pretty close match. Zverev is treating us to his famous 'wonky second serve' every now and again.

I think Sascha has settled into this match now.

I'm watching Siniakova v Kudermetova. They have just had the supervisor out on court but I don't know why as I was making a cup of tea and missed the start of the discussion

Just saw the end of Sascha’s match - I quite like him in the black sleeveless top - think he’s been working on his biceps.

Yes his poor opponent looked as if he’d got his kit from lost property - good to see the bees making a reappearance though

Marion has a very unique sense of style (is she still designing her own stuff?) she has not long had a baby, so we'll let her off for now .
