Ref earlier comments that it's SOP for AFOs to always use two shots, were two shots used to shoot the robbing oik at the start of the series?

Also I didn't think the two shots sounded identical (but v hard to tell!) so I'll put my neck on the line and say it was two different shooters, one Ryan and I think one someone else I.e. not Ryan/Kate/Jo.

@Furries me too - trying to loose a lockdown stone - will be difficult not to snack while watching.

@YouKnobhead - I watched the ending again on iPlayer and thought 1. Kate was still shouting as the shots were fired and 2. The two shots were identical, i.e. from the same gun. But I am no expert, this is TV and I could very well be wrong.

Yes, I reckon he shoots first and Kate fires instinctively straight afterwards. He either gets taken out by his own gun and Kate's shot is superfluous to requirements or he misses Kate (it not being his preferred weapon) but she does get him.

Maybe Jo had a gun... or someone had followed them and shot her... or maybe it was a car backfiring?
