Ted has been the police so long that they won't necessarily have his DNA on file from him joining. He was arrested and interviewed last series so his DNA may be on the nominal database from then.

Some weeks I’m more exited about the podcast than the actual episode! Cannot wait until tomorrow’s episode - so much for them to get stuck into!

I love shrine of duty but I've managed to avoid the spoiler so worried they will talk about it!

Just rewatched S6 ep 1, when Jo in the convoy came up towards
the side road leading to the bookies, the police car behind turned the blue lights in and did 4 flashes. 4, is H in morse code.
Now rewatching ep 2

Why do they do 3 days later

From what I understand, they watch it on Sunday, then watch it again on Monday & make notes for the recap & collate all the emails/tweets they’ve been sent in order to put the theory section together, then record it on Tuesday.

They’re just three ordinary people who work together, so they’re fitting around their jobs & other commitments.

FFS - just stumbled upon a spoiler online. Wasn't even bloody looking.

The trouble is that as one of the spoilers is officially put out by the BBC, so many people think it's part of a fair trailer, not a spoiler. And it's being repeated/discussed everywhere.

I think it's going to be very hard to avoid that one

And TBH, it doesn't actually tell you anything. Because what it is could go very many different ways

So, I decided to put S1E1 on tonight even though I rewatched it all a few weeks ago. I wanted to look back at the Karim Ali shooting and Osborne, and make note of any nominal suspects for our files, obviously.

Am I crazy, or do you hear Buckells on the radio while the counter terrorism team are getting ready to go into the flat, hurrying things along?

I like the theory on a previous thread that maybe Lakewell’s story is that the raid in s1e1 was deliberately botched to let the real terrorists escape. Fits with the “easier to let people think they’re racist” idea.

I will have to run a full analysis on the TV again tomorrow.

Yes I think if there is a big boss / “H” it’s Osborne. They’ve repeatedly come back to that case this series and to Osborne and have dropped in that he’s now top dog... he’s been my pick for a couple of series now.

Last week’s recap was either a big red herring or a clue - you hear Lakewell saying “there are some people you can’t challenge” and the next shot is Osborne.

Maybe too obvious though. A double bluff?
