Ted has been the police so long that they won't necessarily have his DNA on file from him joining. He was arrested and interviewed last series so his DNA may be on the nominal database from then.

I need to rewatch to examine Chloe's reaction because if she's embarrassed or shocked by the revelation then it means that despite the unknown DNA match, it must be someone known to her even if it's from the mists of time.

To be honest, I’m not convinced the actor playing Chloe is any great shakes. She spends most of the time looking shocked or anxious.

I have thought the same about Kelly McDonald - most of any episode concerned then 1 minute of action!

Could the DNA match come from a victim of crime. I don't know if that is stored but rather than looking for somebody that has been arrested or has a criminal record could it be a victim of the OCG ?

I always watch the most recent episode a second time with subtitles. I find it helps once I’ve read these posts and whatever one is saying on one of the Facebook groups I’m on.

When Ryan informs Jo of a death at the prison, she asks the cause of death and he says 'being a rat Ma'm' She doesn't ask, she knows exactly what that means.

Buckles' hands are shaking as he pours milk into his drink when Lakewell enters his cell. A prison officer shuts the door on the three men. Lakewell asks why he's there and Buckells says they have to share. Lakewell questions where's another bunk. Buckles says 'overcrowding' He obviously knows in advance what's going to happen and so does the officer.

The ambush of the convoy was clearly very well planned (cars, guns, gunmen, stinger in position, sniper in position etc). Given the dodgy events at the prison, would they really have given prison staff enough advance notice of the route, to allow the OCG time to arrange all that, in the event of a tip off? Does this point to an AC12 leak?

Also, what was the motivation for Lakewell to take the risk of talking to Gail Vella?

Annoyed about spoiler (which was also on Instagram) plus annoyed about spoiler storyline.

I am pretty sure they will discuss said spoiler on Shrine of Duty. I don't think it will be avoidable til Sunday (because it will be in the trailer an dis being used in any publicity) but in case anyone really wants to avoid it, maybe don't listen to podcast.

I think we know that Carl Banks killed Gail Vella. It’s been pointed out that shooting someone point blank in the back of the head is an OCG technique. I think Ryan was just reminding Jo of Gail and using the same approach.
