It's surprisingly rated 6th on Netflix in the UK, so wondering how many have watched and if they have any questions about it?

I've only watched the first episode thus far but I'm fairly familiar with the story and I was raised in the LDS church.

Ah yes that’s the other thing that struck me. The fbi man saying if was asked to prove fraud then he’d focus on proving the opposite and vice versa. Rather than gathering evidence and seeing what that shows.

I enjoyed this as I'm fascinated by LDS.

@Newnamefor2021 can you expand a bit more on your upbringing as a LDS?

How strict was it?
No alcohol, caffeine etc?

Thank you for starting this thread

Hi. Of course, I was fully in, baptised at 8, no alcohol, smoking, tea, coffee, or even coke in my household. No dating until 16, no sex.

I served in lots of callings, from primary president, seminary teacher, adult Sunday school teacher. I was endowed in the temple and was sealed to my husband. He served a mission and had a very similar upbringing to me (we was allowed Coke lol).

All our children were born under the covenant, my husband served on the bishopric and stake high council.

Feel free to ask questions. 😃

Yes, it's stage isn't it? I mean he was right to do it, but you wonder about confirmation bias, but then he admitted it so that's the end of that really.

That’s what I wondered about- confirmation bias.

Is your husband still in the church?

I loved it and watched it initially assuming it would be a five minute do in then leave. Really interesting. Quite gripping in fact.

just completed episode 3... 😳

chilling terrifying and just imagine what good he could have achieved with that IQ, instead he chose evil 🌺

No, we left together thankfully. Smile

That’s good you both left together.

Someone I know left but his wife didn’t. Caused a lot of angst - especially with the eternal marriage.

Yeah, it's tough when someone leaves, I have friends in that position and I really feel for them.
