Hi, l have just watched the 1st eposide of series 2 and it looks like it’s going to be a very interesting series. Is there anyone else watching, besides me!

When is the reunion on??? Just checked Hayu and it's not showing yet....I thought part 1 would be there today.

And JL is now saying maybe he is the father but due to covid he couldn't be in Oz, and they don't want to send saliva samples to do a DNA test......he just sounds like a petulant kid. If you are old enough to do the deed you are old enough to accept responsibility for the resulting child.

DH got a notification from just watch saying the watch the whole season of below message a week early in Hayu. I’ve just had a look at the first ep is there! I’m guessing we can watch each ep a week early rather than the whole series this week.

(New series always drop one a week....that's why it's quite good to have a binge series waiting. ALthough I'm on series 3 of summer house and still not sure about it. Lol. I think my issue is that they don't really like each other in series 1 and 2. - Jersey Shore they liked each other, Below Decks they have to work together so no choice, Summer House is supposed to be fun and a laugh - but if they don't like each other the whole premise of the show seems false.....I'm sure by series 6 I will have either come to terms with it or decide not to watch any more!! At least the machine gun twins have gone.)

Well I watched BDSY Med last night. No chef charter 1!!! I could have put out a better dinner though.....surely someone knows how to cook a steak and make some good looking salads?

I have just watched BD:Med. It’s going to be a good season! I actually felt sorry for Cpt Sandy and the crew. I wish the chef, had told them earlier about his knee. They still might of been able to get another chef, but at least, they would of had more time to prepare. I would of been a wreck, if l had to kill and then cook the lobsters. I think that the Primary is awful. She is so stuck up and rude!! I can’t wait for next week, to see if the chef comes back or if some other chef arrives. That sous chef was useless, she didn’t know anything. I cant believe, that she didn’t know how to prepare and cook lobster. Although, she only might have started her job on her yacht.

You’d still think that one of them would be able to cook the steaks. I think they must have had to cook the lobster that day and do the oysters as I’m sure there would have been easier options.

I feel like this will be a stressful watch! The preview was hectic.

She wasn't a sous chef - she was an assistant chef. I'm assuming that's like a 3rd stew....Green and needs direction! They could have boiled the lobster and then taken the meat out the tails....it would have been easier. As would serving the oysters raw.....

Oh and still no reunion show tonight!!

I watch the reunion this morning. It on what’s what happened live. For some reason it often drops there first for the reunion shows. Maybe to give Andy Cohen more viewers.
Daisy is very cringe in it but at least she warned us! Bless her 😂

I can't believe none of them thought to leave the oysters raw?! And surely a quick google to figure out how to cook the steaks?

Interested to see how they plan to get around the whole new Chef / quarantine issue....🤔

Watched part one of the reunion. Gary is such a dick.

Enjoyed the first episode of new med more than expected, possibly as it was a disaster.
Thought it mad to cook the oysters.
I'm irrationally annoyed the new chief stew is called Kate, it's too confusing, I expect mad lips and sass and get someone clearly competent and a little dull.

You’d think the amount that some of them have worked on luxury yachts they would at least know about raw oysters. I know you can get them baked but it’s a lot less common and normally topped a bit like a green lipped mussel. Even doing a vinaigrette to go with them would be easy. It was a hard watch after binging top chef last night 😂

I watched both the reunion shows. I really felt for Dani. JL was an idiot and his Mum was disgusting the things she said about Dani. Gary didn’t have any right to go off on JL, what a hypocrite!! Wow! I can’t believe that Allie is pregnant as well! Gary looked gutted. Well it serves him right, for treating Allie so badly. Natasha lied about how many pita breads that she made. It’s riduculous, own up woman!!

I know! Why show the photo!?! I thought what Gary said about Alli’s boyfriend was so weird after the pregnancy announcement. It was something like “as long as he treats her right which she says he does”. He really likes to twist the narrative.

The pita party for the reunions on insta went up yesterday and Daisy said she had had 3 bottles of wine and whilst getting ready Sydney was telling her lots of things Gary had said behind her back off camera. She went in to it hammered and really angry at him with all these new revelations.

I am not keen on Sydney. She knew she was in the wrong in Gary. She obviously did that with Daisy because she dislikes Gary. She doesn’t care now as she has a boyfriend. Gary is disgusting, he had a girlfriend albeit they haven’t seen each other for 8 months. He should of mentioned it at the beginning!
I love Capt Glenn even more. I think now, l prefer him out of all the Capts.

I must admit Capt Sandy, seems chilled out, than last season and so does Amalia. I am glad that she split from Tom as he was a arsehole!

Totally agree on Malia splitting up with Tom, he was such a Chef-toddler-prima Donna!

On a more scurrilous note....there's a fairly solid rumour floating around the interwebs that the mysterious 'Partner' referenced by Sydney is in fact - Captain Glenn!! Confused

There's a pic of them all dolled up together online, plus they're both in Palma...and she refers to him being a Captain....

Why Glenn why??!

I don’t think it is Glenn. The picture of them together she says thanks you for giving me opportunities and believing in me etc. The photo is from the last night of the season.

If they are together though hopefully she would learn to grow the fuck up with her views on other women.

Glenn is definitely the best captain. Sandy irks me. Even in that first ep. I’m not sure why! Captain Lee I don’t mind but I feel he can quite old school with his views on the world. Glenn is so chill, owns up to his mistakes and supports his team, regardless of it being a different lifestyle.

Should we do a season 6 below med thread or stay here? I wouldn’t do a general below med thread as a lot of people are way behind watching on E4 or Netflix and they don’t have all the seasons.

I thought I'd seen something about her BF....but maybe I hadn't. I think the boat length is different to Parcifal as well.

Captain Glen had a photo in his cabin of someone that he didn't talk about - I assumed that was his partner. And that maybe he's gay.

I'm happy to stay here - or to move over to another thread - whichever is easiest. (now I've found my people I'm not leaving!)

Saw the Sydney/Glen rumours yesterday and thought hmmm maybe. He's a nice enough captain but he doesn't seem to have an awful lot going on upstairs.
