Our Girl Thread 59 "Our Girl and Soldier Soldier Revisited"

We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier. We are now on series 7.

You would think Angie would have somebody with her at a time like this.
Surely Karen Fitzpatrick would have been a good choice.

There will be fisticuffs before much longer between Jacko and Rossi. Typical squaddie behaviour, fight first, think later.

Jessica goes to talk to Angie. I think it was possibly a mistake, especially on the day of the funeral.

I guess Jessica was hoping Angie would tell her not to blame herself, but at least she is finally having a good cry.
