Does anyone watch this? It's about a religious homeschooling family in Georgia US with 9 kids.
Lots of tensions and now the older kids have moved away and 3 of them have fallen out with the parents and confronted them about their homeschooling not properly preparing them for adult life.
The parents seem to try and blame everything on the daughter in law Olivia corrupting the others. It's funny how they are going to the opposite extreme doing sexy modelling etc

I reckon he's doing it to win kim back. I don't think he'd be ready to date someone else quite yet. Could be wrong!

The family unity stuff hasn't aged well. They seemed so religious back then. They all look so perfect and innocent singing in the family band. Funny how much some of their clothes changed and they ended up going to a strip club. I hadn't realised one of the daughters had an eye accident.

Kim chose her quiver full life. The easiest way for a couple to get on the same page is for the wife to get on the husband's page. I understand changing her mind. It must be hard for the older children to have lived through what they did now that it has all relaxed.

No wonder mommy-Hosanna ran for the hills. Everyone pitches in work, the boys sometimes help the girls in the kitchen 🙄?

The boys have hobbies taking them outside in the fresh air. Girls were hanging washing out.

I’ve been watching this from the beginning and Kim is such a hypocrite. She holds all of her kids to a standard that neither she, nor anyone else can meet.

I really dislike how Lydia was made to lose interest in two separate guys because of Kim’s manipulation resulting in Lydia thinking that it was God’s will for her not to meet up with them.

The whole show is very upsetting to watch. Poor Moriah is skin and bone in series 4 because of Max cheating on her. And there doesn’t seem
to be anyone apart from Micah who she can go to for support.

Yes, Lydia seemed quite unwell at one point as she was distressed about the family fall outs. In a way it might be good for her to see that her parents are far from perfect. She was too obedient before and I don't think it was doing her any good.
Has anyone seen the last episode of the series where they go to Jamaica? I don't seem to be able to get it. I'm wondering if they are going to change channels like Bringing up Bates so we have to pay for a new channel to see it.

No I haven't seen the Jamaica episode, it wasn't on last week was it?

No. My TV automatically records it but it didn't record that one and I can't locate it. I can see it on YouTube but it doesn't seem to be the whole episode. Maybe it'll come on later. It's called Everyone's Invited

TLC have finally put on the Jamaica episode and a river trip episode on Christmas day as a double bill. It does very much feel like they've been told by the TV company. "We will pay for this holiday but we need to see some drama!" Feels like they are goading Olivia now who's obviously a pretty damaged person. They should just agree that Ethan sees the mum and Olivia doesn't. I know a family where the husband sees his parents but his wife doesn't (because the FIL is rude to her.)

I don't like Olivia at all. She seems so self absorbed and self righteous. I guess she's also a product of her fundamentalist Christian upbringing but she just isn't likeable from what I see of her.

I used to really like Olivia but the more I see of her the less I like her.

I feel the same. Also, the other Plaths have disputed Olivia's claim that Kim stole Ethan's credit card.
