It’s back!!! Now with extra added Alan Carr!!!

Starts tonight. I didn’t find the first series until well after it finished and binge watched it, enjoyed following the thread on here as I did so but I was way behind the time to contribute anything.

Looking forward to enjoying this series hopefully with some viper chatter as we go along. Come on in, all opinions welcome!

I think Charlotte explained herself very well. I hope it saves her.

I thought she was a front runner.

Right choice made. Can't believe Michaela got away with it. Again!

Charlotte had the most difficult brief AND she had to work around existing stained glass. Unfair.

Michaela didn't seem to fight for it much, so I thought she might finally be let go. Charlottes dark green was unforgivable though.

coveting we just won't eat the top crust- the rest is OK. Until I taste it.

Micahela took the wig advice very literally then?

I'm really disappointed to see Charlotte leaving, I think she showed lots of potential, think it was an unfortunate brief for her.

Look forward to reading her blog on this episode though..

Charlotte was hamstrung by her awful brief.

Rather like Barbara was with her camera shop (no photos allowed for copyright reasons?)

Agree Charlotte had a tougher brief, but that green was vile, and theres always something missing

I think it's a real shame Barbara and Charlotte have left. I think Paul and Micaela have been very lucky to get to the final four.

I'm really enjoying Alan Carr as the host, I hope they keep him on for the next series - which by the way, they are starting to open applications

@covetingthepreciousthings I totally agree. I've not been that keen on him before but he is really lovely with the designers. Are any of you going to apply for the next series?

I’m still struggling a bit with some of the colour schemes:

Pastels with egg yolk yellow
Pale pink with red
Dark green with mauve

Maybe my idea of which colours go together is just really predictable and boring?

I loved Lynseys tiling and her peg board but yes probably was a bit cluttered. I dont understand why Michaela didn't use an outdoor rug which would have given pattern but wipeable. Shame for Charlotte as she's so talented in her artwork. If you read her blog or see her Instagram she's very colourful and inspiring. I think she was out of her comfort zone with that brief. Agree with the colour of the other two 🤣 Looked like they both needed a good scrub and I thought their huts were too cliché. Xxx

I think this week was very unfair - so the two most flamboyant contestants get the two most flamboyant, & let's be honest, easy briefs & the other three get wishy washy ones??
Home from home; Hamptons but not Hamptons & Ice Cream Sundae??? Versus Tropicana & 50s Diner???
Hated Siobhan's - yes it was cohesive but there wasn't much ingenuity in space saving - a bar on wheels & bench seating (drink!)? That's all & who wants to be getting those huge Bamboo struts out every time?
Charlotte's was a bit dull but Christ what is Hamptons but not Hamptons??
Lyndsey's was so clever - ok a bit much but she actually thinks about it being used.
& poor Michaella - yes it was a home away from home - what else was Michelle expecting??
Clearly Michelle knows who she wants in the final.

Definantly thought Paul and Siobhan were the best results. The finished results were well put get her.

Didn’t like Lyndseys design on paper, but liked the finished result. Some clever touches, and looked coordinated.

Not surprise Charlotte went. The green was too dark for the small space.

I think the Hamptons not Hamptons brief was harsh. The Tiki bar was cohesive but could have gone either way as it was a cliche interpretation really. I think the Retro Diner was probably the easiest as again a well trodden path. I'm finding Michelle gets me down a bit so I was pleased to see Sophie who is upbeat and cheerful. Though I couldn't help thinking that she had a jumper on that was the same colour as the green Charlotte used. That green is really popular at the moment with pink isn't it.

I don't know why they didn't all get the same brief, it would surely have been fairer. Club Tropicana was the easiest to do.

Good decision although I agreed Charlotte had the toughest brief. Nice to see Sophie again.
I think they all did better than last time beach huts was a challenge on a similar show.
