Couldn't see another thread... Really looking forward to this. Love Luke Evans and Keith Allen looks really scary!

I thought it was well made and respectful. Very moving re the son, his confrontation with his mother was so sad.

It was a shame the trial was so rushed- barely a few minutes and nothing described in the scenes came across as convincing evidence. I guess the actual evidence was presented throughout the show but it could have done with a further episode.
The rationale behind re-opening the case was also a bit rushed. As someone who had never heard anything about Cooper the first episode didn't quite explain how they started tying him to the murders and why they were given such a budget to investigate him.

I still find it incredulous that Pat died the night Cooper was released from Prison. I thought the drama made it look like that for 'dramatic effect', but it was true. The police must have not known what hit them that night. Is he a grieving husband or a murderer?

I hope the son has rebuilt some sort of life. He looked like we was in poor health with not much of a life to look forward to.

Cooper has tried to appeal against his conviction without success. It's worth noting that he also vociferously denied all the burglaries which were the subject of his original conviction, but the evidence against him on those was absolutely overwhelming.

We thought it was very well done. Couldn't understand why the mother didn't resume a relationship with her son while Cooper was in prison?

I thought it was excellent. Had a blub at the end. I have Welsh family and a enjoyed the accents - while not knowing if they were accurate or not tbh - and just thought the tenacity of the police were incredible. Those poor people and those poor teenagers. Pat dying the night he came out made my blood run cold. The terror she must have felt having to have him back in the house after all those years. I read a report where the police said they believed she just gave up, her body and mind couldn't take it anymore. The horrors he just have exposed her and his child to.

How anyone can say they believe he was framed is beyond me. I don't think they do believe it, not really, they just hate the police so much that they'd rather a vicious killer/child rapist Walker free than the police should triumph.

I'm disappointed to find out the delicious Luke evans is gay. I mean, i know he was unlikely to run away with me any time soon but could always dream.

I don't know if this will sound weird but I'm glad Luke Evans felt comfortable coming out again, after being pressured to closet when he went to Hollywood.

Was there no dna evidence from the rape?

I thought this was very well done. A horrifying story all round, and terrible that his wife died on the night he got out.

Good cast as well I thought. I was particularly moved by the son.

Really enjoyed it, and the follow-up with the real life people involved in bringing him to justice.

I watched all 3 episodes yesterday and really enjoyed it. However I did think it felt a bit rushed and would have preferred the storyline about Luke Evans’ character and his son to have been ditched in favour of more time spent on the actual case.

I was surprised when they were looking for photos there was no mention of passport photo when he went to Spain.

Maybe it didnt show his hair at the back or was 8 years old with short hair? They should really have mentioned it though.
