So what would've happened if a couple of the celebs in the final four where exempt from doing the cyclone,like Bev probably would have been .

I guess it wouldn't be too difficult just to do it with three stars and less time, with someone sitting it out?

Vernon or Jordan to win

It won’t be so much of a party atmosphere without Shane in there. I guess today will be very quiet for the campmates, almost boring? Probably will be a very reflective day.

Shame has been doing my head in for a while, I think it's because he seems like he's always 'on'. You never see behind the wall like you have with the others. He never lets people have their 'moment'.

I'd like Gi to win. Like Vern too but think it'll be 3. Vern, 2. Gi, 1. Jordan.

Shane will hate it that he didn't even get into the final. Especially as Joe Pasquale won it. Shane's relentless 'joking' was tiring - he seems to think he is some kind of comedy God, whereas Joe P is actually funny, and a lovely guy.

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere that Shane is just like the character he played in Benidorm -Sammy Valentino, a caricature of a tragically unfunny 'entertainer'.

I think Shane was the one who actually kept them all going, he was popular in there and he wouldn't have lasted as long as he did if the public disliked him as much as some in here do.

Also he held an actual blackboard up with a message to home on it a couple of days ago, and everyone's been going mad about gi's hand thing!

I disagree that Gi is like jacqueline Jossa because I found JJ much more attention seeking last year and she seemed to want constant reassurance whereas Gi hasnt been like that at all.
We watch together with DC although DS often doesnt get to see the end because he has to go to bed earlier. Then he watches the 2and half the next day.
I feel like there havent been as many natural conversations or friendships this year. Often 2 or 3 campmates will really gel together as a group, but I didnt feel that this year, but I'm glad they found a way to stage the programme.
If they keep it in Wales, I hope they will do more stuff in the day time.it almost seemed a waste of beautiful scenery and countryside and they did everything in the dark! It's not like Wales doesnt have any daylight hours...?
My DD said last night she got really annoyed when they keep jewellery and specifically rings on when they are going the trials saying it would be really easy to lose it when rummaging in fish guts, or in the foam in the cyclone (although were they wearing gloves for that?) I'd never even thought about it!!

I didn’t know Shane was Sammy Valentino! How did I miss that, it’s so obvious now.

Why didn’t they show that Shane was so ill. He clearly was very unwell after the drinks trial. Give that they both were ill, I hope they gave them medical help. Is that food poisoning or because they drank inedible stuff? I’ve never seen them have to drink such a lot.

I loved the cyclone, it’s always good.

That's a good point about Jordon. Gi and Vernon will undoubtedly get votes from fans of their spouses who are touting for votes on social media.

Jordon has come across really well though. I think he'll do well out of it even if he doesn't win.

Pisted before finishing. I'm thinking of Joel Dommitt (sp) and Emily Atack. Both runners up I think but have gone on to carve better careers.

I get what you mean about JJ. I probably should have said a forgettable winner rather than a memorable winner.

I wondered that. Especially as a lot of it is raw offal/anus type stuff < not envy. But I presume there must be a dr or medic onsite...? Mostly they have to do 3 items, one of which is a drink, not 6!!
I remember Cliff/Clive??(minty) was quite ill last year or year before....but he hadnt actually done v much.

There has been no welsh equivalent of Dr Bob on screen this year. I’m sure they had one but maybe mid pandemic they couldn’t find a doctor prepared to be on set doing that publicly instead of using their skills in an actual hospital?

I do actually think the drinks trial was too much- it was nearly a pint each time which is just unnecessary. Anyone would be ill!

Is the stuff that eat/drink raw? I assumed it would be cooked or at least absolutely safe to be consumed raw such as the vomit fruit etc. The stuff they thrown over them is obviously raw - fish guts, offal etc. Some of that must be ingested. Poor Vernon couldn't speak because it was all over his face 🤢

If he did have food poisoning, which it sounds like he did, I think they need to rethink the eating trials.

It has to be Vernon to win. I have loved him since his T4 days.

Gi seems perfectly nice but so so dull. That annoying thing she does when they say she is safe every night I could throw something at the screen.

Jordan is like a toddler. I don't get the appeal.

lagneyand casey great name , yes good point, if he doesn’t win as you say due to the others having more celebrity clout in voting then I hope he does well out of it The others have that lovely cushion of their partners wealth and fame to help them along whereas he is just a genuinely lovely person so hope he does well.

I think everything is done late at night so the team have enough time to edit everything. This is why Australia works so well, as they then have the whole day to edit. So they will never do stuff in the day if they continue working in the UK.

I thought they did it at night to avoid the public coming out to watch.

I was surprised Shane went as he was a favourite.

I think it is to do with editing but I don’t think it would be beyond the wit of man to change the filming/editing structure to make it work with filming in the day
Perhaps if they do do it in the U.K. again this will happen it was all a bit last minute.com this year out of necessity.
