We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

An argument over tips...not surprised that Debs is causing trouble after only a week in the job.

Looks like the other officers are doing the sexist macho thing at the thought of Sam Sheridan as second in command.

I goody, Steve”s back. I missed him.

Debs hasn't lasted long in the job.

Angie looks perturbed. She's going to chat with Sam Sheridan afterwards. Sounds interesting.

In the meantime, Sam is stepping up to the plate in Jeremy's absence and is part of an exercise.

Steve tells the lads what Colchester was like.

Sam and Angie have a chat. Angie is going to be an officer but it's going to cause trouble with hubby.

Have I missed something? How come Angie's husband (whose name I have totally forgotten) is walking with a stick? Did he get injured during the Green Goddess episode?

Angie has been accepted for officer training. Now that will go down well with Macho Man McLeod!

When did Briggs and Debs get married? Did I miss that?

Ah, army cutbacks. So they've grounded the helicopter so everyone is off to the exercise by trucks. What could possibly go wrong?

Debs has to confess to Briggsy that she's lost her job.

Angie confesses but Chris looks a bit fed up about it and resentful.

Chris is not happy that Angie might be an officer at the end of all this. Clear to see how he views women in the army.

When is Briggs going to realise what a mistake he has made?

It does seem funny to see people having to use a phone box!

Sam is a bit miffed that Major whasiname overruled her just now. Must be a bit galling.

Oh dear, it's stripper night at the pub and Debs is meeting a friend there. Wonder what thought will go through her mind now?

Oh good grief, it looks as if Debs has ended up in a bar employing strippers!

Ah, Chris is trying to make amends for his attitude in the afternoon. He brings her a bottle of bubbly and wishes her success. Then she puts her foot in it/he gets all touchy about his status. What an idiot!

Debs has strolled into the WRONG pub. Very hostile female tells her working girls only allowed.

Fun night in at the MacLeod's!

Debs chats to the hostile lady in the pub who suggests there's an easy way to make some money in a time old profession.

The battle of the sexes is being played out at the MacLeods house. Angie says the boot would be on the other foot if Chris had the opportunity.

The bailiffs call round to Debs and Briggs house and strip it of goods for unpaid bills. She is now desperate for money.
