We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

Thank goodness Chris and the lads can see that Mark and the Governor are about to be executed. They'll save them in the nick of time. Phew.

Blimey - looks like Kate and Kieran were the only two officers to ever have a happy ending on this series. No luck for Jeremy, no luck for Tim and no luck for Rory!

At least we were spared the torture scenes with Georgie and even the beating up of the Nigerian medic wasn’t too gruesome.

Gosh lot happening in that episode. Really sad about Sam. I liked her and she definitely stood up for the women in the military. The Colonel does come over as a bit of a pompous type but as you say that will be the end for another of Jeremy's romances. All t o be settled in next episode I dare say.

Another thing I always think with Soldier Soldier that they certainly had a much bigger budget than OG even though they do use the same old buildings a lot. They do have more personnel running about the place

Oh heavens, it's Andy's stag weekend by the sounds of it. We get to meet Andy's Dad. It seems Mark Hobbs has recovered ok.

Somewhere else in a posh hotel, the Elf is having her hen weekend. I can't imagine her in a wedding dress.
