We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

Please tell me they don’t’t crash the jeep.
Oh, and guess what, I bet the geriatric is ex-bomb disposal.

Rhubarb01 · 12/01/2021 21:25

Sorry, I'm sounding like a parrot!

Iceroadtruckingextremefishing · 12/01/2021 21:26

As a long term lurker on your fabulous threads, can I just briefly interrupt and ask where you’re watching SS? I know Drama are showing the Robson and Jerome era, but you lot seem to be a lot more further on?

Rhubarb01 · 12/01/2021 21:26

I would slap Mrs Eastwood if she kept patronising like that. "It's...all....right....Kate!"

eejittwo · 12/01/2021 21:27

We’re half way through series 6

eejittwo · 12/01/2021 21:27

Told you the geriatric was army.

Rhubarb01 · 12/01/2021 21:28

Here he comes, the hero of the hour.

Rhubarb01 · 12/01/2021 21:29

"We'll soon have you all out of here" - lets hope it's not sky high.

Ilovelblue · 12/01/2021 21:29

Well, for an old codger, George seems to be worth his weight in gold. Good job he was part of the Druid procession after all.

"Can I ask you all to be quiet" - typical bloke - pesky women making a bit of row in labour. Oh dear - the bomb is ticking.

Rhubarb01 · 12/01/2021 21:32

iceroad - we are watching via our own boxsets and using the catch up on Drama. I think they have all the series there. It's not live on TV at the moment.

Ilovelblue · 12/01/2021 21:33

Hello iceroad, just noticed your post!

Rhu and I are watching on a DVD but eejit is watching on a Sky channel I think.

Also iceroad, we're flattered you think we have a fabulous thread!

Debs mother went out without taking the key?

Rhubarb01 · 12/01/2021 21:35

eejit that sounds like another post of that thread on things people do in TV dramas that never happen in real life.

eejittwo · 12/01/2021 21:35

I’m watching on UKTV - free, but with irritating adverts and some curious cuts.

Ilovelblue · 12/01/2021 21:36

A tense moment for old George and the captain.

A bit different to when the suicide bomb vests were diffused in OG.

That drummer is having fun doing random beats to increase the tension.

eejittwo · 12/01/2021 21:37

Yeah, like most things Georgie does?

Rhubarb01 · 12/01/2021 21:38

Is this a mention of Gulf War syndrome - he was talking about all the drugs they were given?

eejittwo · 12/01/2021 21:38

Is the old codger going to have a stress-induced heart attack, just to add to the fun?

Rhubarb01 · 12/01/2021 21:39

This episode is Debs opportunity to show a better side to herself. Briggsy will be proud of her when she gets out.

Rhubarb01 · 12/01/2021 21:40

eejit Grin - Mrs Eastwood is a one woman A&E department.

Rhubarb01 · 12/01/2021 21:41

"Never mind him!" - looks like the Mother-in-Law likes Debs husband.

Ilovelblue · 12/01/2021 21:41

Haha Rhu, a bit like Martin Platt when he was a nurse in Coronation Street. If anyone went to hospital, he was the only nurse in the whole building!
