We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

Meanwhile, Chris and Angie are having a heart to heart in a restaurant (oh for the days when restaurants were open!).

Angie tells him she has backed out of going for officer training. The reason? After she passed the training, the plan was for her to go to Belize for two years! Belize? We know all sorts of things that go on in Belize. I think you made the right choice there Angie!

He seems quite a nice young lad really, but obviously doesn't realise how much she enjoys spending (his hard earned) money! She's a spoiled brat really.

Yes Rhu I really enjoyed that remake. I'm recording this Christmas special. Which character in the original series was the man who played a Major (a vet too) in a previous episode of Soldier Soldier? He was a previous boyfriend of the Major's wife in that series and helped their daughter with her equine skills.
