What can I watch, please? I like drama, like comedy, no horror and low on violence...

I loved The Bodyguard and The Capture.

I loved The 100 and sci fi, Roadkill and Line of Duty.

I'm watching Strike but am quite disappointed by them.

What fabulous TV series am I missing!

Crazy Ex Girlfriend. It's funny and fun but gets more serious while managing to stay fun. The actress (and writer?) is so talented and insightful.

Have you seen Fleabag? It's on Iplayer, it's excellent
Also second Shtisel and Unorthodox - both excellent.
The Crown too, if you haven't seen it?

I also just watched Modern Love on Prime which was really good (apart from the very end which was a bit too cheesy)

Iggypoppie · 02/11/2020 19:15

New Girl?

ethelredonagoodday · 02/11/2020 19:19

Schitt's Creek is really good fun.
The Crown also good.

We're watching Leverage on Amazon Prime at the moment, it's brilliant, no real violence or anything horrible and a few seasons of it. Also just finished Madam Secretary which I loved. Watching our way through the Handmaid's Tale but that's obviously quite a bit darker with bits of violence, all very subtly filmed but hard hitting.

I loved the Good Place, Jane the Virgin, The IT Crowd, Big Bang Theory etc for comedy.

Have you watched Line of Duty, it's one of the best crime shows ever I think.

Do you like a bit of space opera - the expanse, Battlestar Galactica and Lost in Space all very good.

Second Lie to Me. Also Scorpion, bit far fetched but we all loved that one as a family.

Loved Life in Pieces on Prime.

Oh, I love Lucifer (not just for Tom Ellis).

Did you see Call the Midwife (fabulous)? Downton Abbey (enjoyable)?

Agents of Shield has violence but it's not horror gore type stuff and it's very funny in parts.

Watching The Children Act. It's just started
Not seen it before

Reign on Netflix for a bit of historical drama with fabulous costumes (albeit fabulously inaccurate )
