Season 1, Episode 1

Watched it 1st time round and loved it. Watching now for the 2nd time
and to be honest (please don't hate me) I'm finding Saga not quite as believable as before. Can't put my finger on it. Still a great series though.

My husband loved it. I never watched it but now I’m halfway through the first series. I’m really not sure what I think about it, I find it so colourless, it actually makes me feel quite depressed. I wonder if I’m missing a lot of the more subtle nuances due to the subtitles. I will persist, hopefully I will get more into it.
I LOVE the theme tune though!

vulgar Hollowtalk - the music is so atmospheric

I missed this series first time around and am hooked! Currently up to episode 5 on series 2. It's making me go to bed very late on Saturdays nights/ Sunday mornings. I love the theme music too.

The other thing I like, as it's subtitled, I have to watch it and pay attention. Most other tv programmes I'm on here of Facebook or the internet so not really paying attention.

I know! I accidentally read a spoiler about one of the characters, which I'll keep mum about. It'll be interesting to see how that story line happens.

Vulgarlady when I was about halfway through the first series I nearly gave up. But I'm so glad I persevered. The scene with Saga and the first meeting with her Mil was absolutely hilarious.

OK, so my DM was bigging this up a couple of weeks ago and last night I decided to give it a go. The first 20 minutes is the exact same intro as The Tunnel, which - you guessed it - a body found on the line between France and UK. And it has 4 seasons and the main characters are smart arsed Brit and the French detective is blonde and possibly on the spectrum. Is it the same story line?

The scene with Saga and the first meeting with her Mil was absolutely hilarious.

Yes I loved that and her clumsy whacking him to show she cared when the guy was upset over his son!

Yes I love this- I hope they run all 4 seasons as I have never seen it before or the tunnel.

I have been re watching this. I also tried the new Wallander, lasted about 2 minutes. The Bridge is so well done, everything else looks shabby.

How violent is it?

Me and DH have fallen in love with this series. What a fantastic character Saga is. Is bbc4 going to show series 3 does anyone know?
