I work as a childminder part time and if I am working I record them and then watch in the evening.

Girl at work was in Australia just before christmas. Was talking to her yesterday and she mentioned that while she was out there they kept advertising on tv that the Last ever neighbours would be screening soon!!!

Surely not I said, surely they just meant that it was the last one of that year while they take their annual break or whatever it is they do.

I've been to the bbc neighbours site and there is no indication there that it's going to finish. IS there anyone here who's actually in Australia who would know?
They can't stop Neighbours it would be the end of my arguments with dd1 over whether or not we're going to watch Neighbours or cartoons.

That's what I thought RTKanga, she must have misunderstood. I knew that they stopped filming over christmas as that's their summer holiday and they stop showing it here over christmas so that we don't end up ahead of them.
