Is it just me that is addicted to neighbours then Doctors?

I work as a childminder part time and if I am working I record them and then watch in the evening.

Hi km, just logged back on and am heartened to find lots of neighbours sados. I agree jack has to go. Maybe they will kill him off and they will all feel sad for say maybe a week.

pesme I have been on mumsnet for several months and when the telly addicts came on I wiondered if I was the only one who watched N and Drs so I thought I would ask

I ahve one friend in RL that watches it and so when we get together or text each other it is about N.

OMG just remembered, how bad was that whole life mechanics thing. I actually stopped watching for a while. Also the stylist obviously had a thing about random facial hair, that priest just looks weird.

KangaMummy · 13/10/2004 13:15

And I am not working today so yesssss I can watch them both and DH is going to collect DS from school so I don't have to rush off after DRs

So phone not to be answered and N and DRS

When dh and I first moved in together he used to make a big deal of how cr@p Neighbours was and sigh loudly all through it. One week I watched the afternoon's episodes instead while he wasn't there. By the 2nd day he was asking what had happened wrt the main storyline. By the end of the week he confessed that he'd been secretly watching it all along. Now that I'm a SAHM and dh gets home from work too late in the evening I have to tape it (and Home & Away) for him.

Actually he'll probably kill me for telling you that.

KangaMummy · 13/10/2004 13:20

LOL at your DH coppertop.

Grrrr, I am not going to be able to sleep tonight trying to decide who to nominate as my favourite neighbours character over the years...... What about Lucy, she was pretty interesting. What about flabby-faced Taaaaaj?
AND Jack's hair is just vile, what is his mother thinking of?

MissHoolie · 13/10/2004 23:28

I love neighbours but had to take a call in the middle of it today. Can someone please tell me what happened when Susan went to see Lou at the prison. Who is being released soon? TIA

MissHoolie · 13/10/2004 23:58

Anyone - in my own mind I think it must be Darcy. Am I right?

golds · 14/10/2004 07:40

Ive become addicted too, to both N and Doctors.

Please someone, I didn't watch the bit when Darcy went to prison, what did he get sent down for...... eagerly awaiting reply before episode today

whimsy · 14/10/2004 08:03

Darcey burgled Susan and Karl's house and pushed a pregnant Lynn Scully down the steps when she went to investigate the noise. Ive got to get out more

coppertop · 14/10/2004 09:04

Darcy also stole Lou's takings from the pub and let Harold's 'friend' Ruby (nudge nudge, wink wink! ) take the blame.

Oh to be let loose with a razor on the set of Neighbours. Jack's awful hair would come off and so would those hairy caterpillars nesting under the bottom lips of Stuart and Tom. And will someone tell Sky that her roots need doing?

foxinsocks · 14/10/2004 09:04

ok miss hoolie, lou told susan that darcy had changed his ways and lou begged susan to consider seeing darcy because his parole hearing is coming soon and he could be set free. Not that I watch neighbours every day you understand

KangaMummy · 19/10/2004 11:40

Just a note to other addicts

I am ashamed to say that my baby (due 03/11) will be far more tuned into the neighbours theme than mozart!
My Dh works from home and we eat lunch and watch neighbours most days.....I think he is secretly addicted.
Is it just me that finds Stingray a highly annoying individual? I wish he would get run over while mooning or maybe they could send him to help Joe get the harvest in, it is taking a rather long time!

KangaMummy · 19/10/2004 12:22

I used to think that about DS with the theme tune.

I agree stingray is very irratating but I think Jack and that woman police person drive me up wall just get rid of them both.

Good luck with baby

I think someone should drop Jack, his girlfriend, Squeaky Summer and Whining Serena into the nearest vat of wet cement and just leave them there until it dries. Grrrrr!

KangaMummy · 19/10/2004 12:29

lol

what will happen with Izzy Karl and Darcy?

OP posts:
Fimbo · 05/11/2004 13:23

Yipee only 20mins to wait!! Hope Karl & Susan get back together soon (once the truth is out about Izzy I suppose. I agree Jack & Mac should go but I detest Sky (Dolly Parton)Mangel more..

On a separate note Mac took Julia back without the usual long drawn out winded nonsense
