Please recommend me a thriller series

Things I have tried but couldn't get into:

Ozark
The Stranger
Unabomber
The Sinner (loved the first one with Jessica Biel, but subsequent seasons dragged on).
How to get away with Murder

Can anyone recommend anything particularly thrilling? Series like Normal People and slushy stuff aren't really for me. Nor am I into comedy particularly.
I love thrillers and serial killer type dramas, and am unlikely to deviate from that

A bit more obscure but American Horror story.
Myself at OH just watched last season, 1984 and enjoyed it. Some seasons are better than others.
Definitely not for everyone and can be quite gruesome.

I agree with Dark (netflix) & Devs (iplayer)

I recently was completely gripped by Defending Jacob. It may only be available on Apple though.

Unforgotten, absolutely brilliant! It's on Netflix, I binged all 3 series.

I've also just started watching Dark on Netflix and I'm really into it. It's dubbed over but I barely notice.

@Babymabel and @Mumteedum - Series 3 of Dark is on Netflix from this coming Saturday.

My favourite ones of the last few months have been You and Giri/Haji.
Watched The Sinner 3 this week and did not like!
Best British series - Line of Duty and Luther
Best subtitled - The Bridge (by far) and Bordertown.

@rosegoldwatcher I saw s1 of dark and loved it but can't remember what happened so feel like need to rewatch before s2 and 3.

I do this with lots of series. Then end up not bothering cos I can't be bothered to rewatch!

Black Mirror (skip straight to the second episode because the first is terrible and they're standalone episodes)

Look on Channel 4 boxsets, Walter presents....some good thrillers there, all subtitles however.

Money heist!!!! I like similar to you, and am quite fussy, but this show is incredible!

I’m struggling through season 2 of the sinner, rubbish compared to the first!!!

If you want a good clever film then I highly recommend black butterfly on Netflix, best film I’ve seen in ages!
