Moo, I thought Firefly was fab too - and do you know we are going to get MOVIES with it? Should we organise a MN outing?

Before MN I lurked on all the various Buffy fanfic sites....

I loved Oz in the episode where they all nearly get burned at the stake.
I hadn't seen that one before, but they were selling boxsets in Blockbusters for £3.99 (!) and I miraculously found it.
I've been trying to get ds (6 months) to let me watch it, I used to have it on all day when I was pregnant and on maternity leave, but I think the screen's a bit dark as he hates it!
I love Spike, everytime he does a cool I'm the Big Bad and someone overhears him or he gets nabbed by the initiative... also love him in Angel adlibbing Angel saving a girl 'ooh its the nancy boy hair gel I love so much'

In defense of Reilly (don't start throwing things yet!!) he grows on you. I mean, I agree when Season Four started we were all missing Angel so much that it hurt and there was no way we were going to accept the corn-fed Iowa boy as a substitute. But I recently watched the season again on DVD and I have to say I didn't hate Reilly. And he does get some great lines. And he is tall and handsome. And he does have a confused darker side. And I'm not convincing anyone am I?

I personally quite fancy Giles as well. More than Porky Angel, although Evil Angelus is rather fabulous.

I have a major thing for Angelus too. Loved the scene with him in the cage taunting Fred while describing Angels reaction to overhearing her and Gunn. The man (evil fiend) is just delicious!!

Right, off to find the CD now.

Nerdgirl, saw the actor who plays riley in something else recently and yes he is rather handsome, but still when i see him in buffy, I always think quit kissing buffy, she belongs to angel - sad, eh?

I loved spike when he first couldn't kill or hurt humans due to his chip, he was funny. Who remembers that episode where he and buffy were gonna get married?

Had to pop to MILs this morning to dispose of a dead mouse for her whilst she was at work. I was a little over enthusiastic when parking and blew out my front tyre. Anyway while I was waiting for the man to come and change it for me (yes, I know I could do it myself, but it was raining and I had DD) I had the joy of sitting on my backside watching Sky so got to see both X Files and Buffy this morning with no guilt that I should be doing something more constructive

MN buffy meetup? Sounds interesting.....do we have to dress up?

Loved that episode Yingers. In fact, I just love anything with Spike. What is it about bad boys?

I just watched some S2 of Buffy with classic Oz - 'all monkeys are french, didn't you know that'
although watching early buffy makes me feel so old!

nerdgirl - they are just so cool and broody makes me go weak at the knees. Even spike's song in 'once more with feeling' was cool.

lunavix - yes it makes me feel old too and it is interesting to see how they have all changed over the years. Both xander, cordelia and angel gained weight and buffy lost it. Willow and spike look practically the same though.

One last point, don't u think it is cute that wesley and willow (the actors) married in real life?

I wish I could watch the re-runs of Buffy in the morning - ds2 is a tinpot dictator though and turnd the TV off if it's not Thomas or Boogie Buggerin' Beebies.

i never get to watch the re-runs either. never in at the right times. Must get the other box sets of buffy, i only have seasons 1-4. And i have not seen the last series of angel yet, have only read all the episode summaries!
