Anyway... I didn't realise it was back until Saturday so watched 1 & 2 back to back. So fed up with choirs, singers and juddery street dancers but I do like a magic act!
Week 1: Nothing really stood out for me, the signing choir were good BUT I hate what that song stands for.
They're not brave or inspirational, they're living their lives just like everyone else and displaying the talent (signing to music is bloody hard) they've learnt not their disabilities!
Magic Man was meh. Simon and Eric was always a safe bet and the kid in the audience with the other back stage was just a pull.
Quite impressed by the well trained daschies - that's no easy task 🤣
Week 2: Yakob, cute and good at jumping about but not my thing. Also worried about the emotional impact this will have on him, confidence building should not be done in front of millions of people!
DD loved the mini bees and I liked the mini magician.
The piano guy was alright and I'd like to see more from him, the whole "doing it for my family" thing doesn't really do it for me. I want comedy and entertainment - not your life story. I wouldn't have given him the golden buzzer based on that but I did like the idea.
I like the dangerous ones, not really sure they're entertaining but i like to be on the edge of my seat rather than being emotionally blackmailed.
The nurse was meh and for the reason above I really didn't like her song choice. I'm assuming she usually sings happier and more uplifting stuff on wards so why the need to pull at heart strings I don't really know. Didn't do it for me at all!
I think now I want to see something different but it's all the same thing year in year out. I didn't watch it last year because i was fed up with it but there's not much else to do this year so I'll give it a go and hope it gets interesting 😁
