We should (but won’t) see some old faces for Denny’s funeral - Michelle for one would surely go back for her oldest friends child’s funeral. In EE, Oz is just a hop away. Grant too would come home for his brothers child’s funeral. Phil adopted him. And Louise would surely too esp now she knows Keanu isn’t dead. Dot would. Who else has Sharon been close to over the years?

I don't think so but there are old "barges" that basically look like flat, rusting metal hulls. I'm trying to think which bridge I've seen them moored by.

Also, as the baby is coming into this world through the birth canal they cut to Dennis, submerged in water and swimming through the hole in the door entrance.

I wondered at one point if sharon was going to bleed to death before the ambulance arrived leaving the two of them without a mum. Glad tbh it wasn’t her.

I am going to say predict that:
Initially Ian will be a hero locally for risking his life and will appear grief-stricken
As only Phil and Ben are left who know Phil's actions caused the crash- unless the crew know- the investigation will have to see what it can find out.
Meanwhile, Phil will be distraught with grief and guilt about Denny. Ben the same, possibly angry at Phil- and depending on what happens to Callum could take revenge on Phil.
Sharon will reject 'Kenny' initially but will be living in Ian's house with him and Kathy and they will bond together all of them in grief and over the baby.
When she finds out, although she will be angry with Ian at first, she will forgive him because (and she is quite pragmatic Sharon) she will recognise his awful situation and that they all share some blame. 'Saving' Sharon and the baby will be Ian's redemption chance.
Keanu will return at some point.
Linda (yawn) will battle her alcoholism.
Sharon will end up with Phil, Keanu or Ian - possibly all 3 one after another over time. Ian as a 'shared grief' thing, Phil as an old comfort blanket and Keanu on his return.
Still things to happen with Mick and Whitney
Whitney will end up in court but be found not guilty
Callum will survive- there might be a hospital saga but he will survive
Phil will make another yet attempt at living life without crime and thuggery and reforming himself after all of this but it's doomed
Shirley's conscience will be tested and her loyalty to Phil- there will be lots of other shenanigans about who tells what to the investigation and who protects whom.
Peter is not going to be a peacemaker

DH watched it this morning and got a bit emotional over the baby who he thought looked just like DS2 when he was born.
