Did anyone cringe when Barnett met Amber’s Mum and she asked him if he had a good job and could look after Amber? I can’t remember her exact words but I cringed as we had only found out how Amber had plans to freeload.

I think Jessica and Barnett would have been a better fit. I know she is a mess now but on paper they work. I don’t get the appeal of Amber at all.

@SebandAlice yep cringed so hard, the whole ‘I need to know you can take care of my family’ from her mum and then Amber saying she could take care of herself. My eyes rolled so hard, I also saw the $ sign in her eyes when she saw his parents house. None of his family seemed to like Amber at all.

I think it was really unethical of the producers to allow Carlton to propose without telling the truth to Diamond. They played with her and it made for really uncomfortable viewing. She handled it really well but then Carlton’s true colours came out. He is a nasty man!

When Amber met Barnet's family, there was one point she was talking, and his mum just got up and walked off, like she couldn't take any more. I'm sure his whole family were horrified. I know it will have been edited to highlight certain things, but that whole event, it was like she blatantly went in there saying "I'm as trailer trash as they come, and just here for the sex and the money".

Does anyone else think that Jessica is older than she says? I'm 50 and she's got almost as many lines on her face as I have. Even allowing for some hard living, I think she looks more like 40s than 34. She's so hung up on the age thing, and so desperate to get married. She also has a VERY successful career for someone only 34. The income/job she (apparently) has would be really hard to achieve by early 30s.

Yeah Jess looks much older than me and I’m 35 with 2 kids. When she was trashed on the hen night she looked haggard.

I agree. It was outrageous for the producers to not disclose Carlton was bi. He's a seriously nasty piece of work.
