There was something not as bad in Whitechapel season 4 and I remain convinced it’s why they didn’t get a season 5.

I was looking at Tweets - perhaps those of us who aren't familiar with Psychoville would have enjoyed it more because everything was.....astonishing, frankly!

I wondered if people who hadn't seen Psychoville would fully "get" this episode. The reference to the Tina Turner impersonation and the Superman dance were pretty niche in-jokes. I am still unable to think about that "Simply The Best" moment without giggling.

I think it does say something for these two and their star pulling power that they were able to get David Bamber to come back for a three minute cameo where he had to roll around on the floor wearing nothing but a nappy.

I don't know - the Tina Turner thing was explained - and a very good sinister thing just to have those rolling around - and the Superman dance, I obviously don't know how it relates to anything else but because they did a dance already, it just seemed like another one!

I don't think I can find Psychoville anywhere for free at the moment so I'll have to wait.

I think one of the lines read to the baby was straight out of the Whitechapel episode, word for word. Pemberton's character's line....

I know I thought the same Eoin about the adult baby actor, only I couldn’t remember his name!

I didnt fully get last nights episode now i see it was referencing psychoville which i have never seen. Still a good episode watchable with a good twist as always

Just to second/third/fourth/ how is it possible to pack so many fully fledged characters into a 30 minute slot?

In the latest what was the number 9 connection, I missed the first few minutes but the flat wasn't no 9.

Apparently it's David's Lecter lampshade, as seen on his YouTube video!

Crockof they changed the door number at the start from 3 to no9 they also repainted the door.
