I thought Novak did well to stay calm there after the time violations, those were two brutal rallies. Think the ump could have been a bit more lenient.

I noticed they didn't pass up the chance to mention Rafa when time became an issue

It reminded me of the US open match when Rafa got a violation at a really crucial point in the 5th set. It was very unnecessary.

Yes I felt the time violations were harsh given the game.
The crowd are definitely cheering for Dom now

Oh dear Djoks rant at the umpire was a bit Serena-esque - I didn’t like the way he patted the umpires shoe!

I think umpires should show a bit more discretion

I went to make a brew straight after the set finished.

No-one here is mentioning going out or anything annoying like that, so I'm staying put on the couch for as long as possible now!

Yes, the shoe patting was patronising. I'd have kicked him.
