New series on Sky. It's great. I'm ill so been binge watching.

I thought this was excellent on episode 1 but by the end I thought it was utter drivel.

@PenguinsOnParade do you mean the guy in the beige anorak that was hit by the car?

Me and DH have watched episodes 1 and 2 twice each and there is definitely no guy being hit by a car.

The recap in episode 3 contains all stuff not shown. The guy being hit by a car, Anna being shown photos of her foreign friend with a guy, the daughter saying "where's my mum" and other things I can't remember.

Also why is the Home Secretary suddenly resigning at the start of episode 3 for no apparent reason?

It just doesn't make any sense and I can't carry on watching it when I don't really know what has gone on

DH says he thinks the guy was hit by the car in a later episode than that but we definitely saw it first in the episode and not in a recap.

One of the things that confused me was when the PM was going to the hospital for his PR exercise, there were loads of people walking down the opposite carriageway - couldn't work out why? I did enjoy it but there were lots of bits that didn't make sense.

I have just fast forwarded through episode 2 as I too was very confused by the start of episode 3 and the things they said were 'previously on' and they weren't. I will keep watching for a bit to see if it makes sense.

@MaddieElla that's weird. As I said, me and DH have both watched episodes 1 and 2 twice and there definitely was no guy run over by a car. Just about all the bits shown in the "previously" bit in episode 3 were definitely not in the episode 2 that we watched.

I've just finished, not seen any of the mismatches you all describe. We saw the guy get hit by the car for the first time when it happened.

If the guys was hit by a car in episode 5 then why was it shown in the 'previously' section at the start of episode 3? That is what was confusing.

It wasn't for us. It was in the "previously" section of the episode after it happened.

I decided to check through all episodes, running through on fast forward. The recap bits at the beginning of episode 3 are actually all in episode 5!

Episode 6 is exactly the same as episode 3! So is there an episode missing or should there only be 5 and 3 has been wrongly put in?

No there's definitely a 3. This sounds like the 3 people are watching is actually 6 and that probably explains why some people feel like they're missing huge chunks of the story.

I watched it on download. It looked like it needed a proper edit. And a plot hole check.
Compelling enough to watch and Robert Carlyle can do no wrong in my view .
But: why would people in the red zone, many of whom appear to be in rural or semi rural areas, upsticks and schlep to the RVI only 4 days in.
I'm a general prepper so I could manage without mains power for a good long while. But even your average punter is a bit more resilient than that. Especially if they live in a rural area.

Sky have massively messed up something, I have no clue how the damn thing ends!

it ends tolerably well for everyone in episode 6.

So is there 6 episodes? If so then one is missing from the downloads as 3 and 6 are the same.

I don't think Sky realise that for many people the downloads are not right

Were they told to go there to get supplies?
Where were the loud haulers? Where were the guns and tasers?
It does sound like some people had a weird episode mix up, what a mess. Did the situation end at the end of episode 3 for those people?

Sky have been made aware of it according to twitter and should be fixed now they say.

@StealthPolarBear I have not watched further than episode 2. Started to watch 3 and it just did not make sense so have stopped. I think the only thing to do is watch when it is actually broadcast rather than trying to binge watch.

It's odd that some people have had no problems and yet others have.

Well it's not fixed for me! Downloaded the episodes this morning and still wrong.

I really don't understand how it can be ok for some and not others and am now annoyed that Sky haven't fixed it

Are you watching in HD? Just had another look at Twitter and people still having issues said it's fine in SD if you download that version instead. We watched in UHD so that should be fine too.

Never seen such a fuck up over a show from Sky though.
