I’ll start: Years and Years (bbc)..bloody brilliant, thought provoking.

Succession was a highlight for me!

lolaflores · 01/01/2020 08:41

Succession. Brian Cox drawling "Fuck offfff" and Matthew McFadden being an unexpected comedian were all a total joy.

lolaflores · 01/01/2020 08:45

I need to add Ghosts. Years and Years. Killing Eve.
Prior ably lots of other bits that I watched and forgot about but Succession was the latest and most absorbing series I watched.
And I fancy the total ARSE off Matthew McFadden. Kieran Mcculkin was a revelation too. And I think there is a massive plot twist involving Amir. The youngest son who is just sitting quietly in the background. Just you wait....

NigesFakeWalkingStick · 01/01/2020 08:51

Chernobyl
Mr Robot (final season)

Lunaballoon · 01/01/2020 08:55

flopsytheflatcat · 01/01/2020 11:42

Bonfire of Destiny

DoctorTwo · 01/01/2020 11:46

Giri/Haji. Best thing on the BBC in years, it's just a shame they put it out on BBC2 which is a travesty. They should repeat it ASAP but on the main channel.

Loveislandaddict · 01/01/2020 11:52

Ghosts was a programme where a couple inherited a large house. The lass banged her head and could ‘see’ the ghosts whilst the boyfriend couldn’t. Each ghost had a different story relating to the house, and was from a different era. It was a lovely comedy drama.

DurannieDeckingTheHalls · 01/01/2020 11:54

OP. there's a very long thread in telly addicts about Ghosts

Starts off focussed on programme then goes the way of all threads involving this particular group of actors. Who's the hottest

There's so many great programmes when you aren't just reliant on terrestrial TV.
