What on earth am I watching?

And why can't they pronounce fusilier or Namibia (but have no problem with correctly saying Windhoek!)?

I read a bit around this after watching it. The last video was much, much worse than they even hinted at in the documentary.

It was rather strange. The nerds didn’t really work alongside the police, they sort of solved it in a way which didn’t have any impact. They weren’t listened to enough when they were on to something.

@cheesydoesit me too! DH walked in on a bit and said the same. It was so weird. Then I got intrigued but the last bit about viewers etc then made me wonder again if it was actually satire after all. I had to google to see if it was all real.

I am actually really pissed off that Netflix has the trailer pop up on auto play when you try to scroll past. I do not need my kids to know that this shit exists.

just started watching this last night one episode left to watch, ive been gripped from start to finish, i remember this happening its a bit odd to watch about some so recent, its so creepy the documentary it really ramps up the atmosphere. John and Deanna and of course all the group were fantastic! the authorities behaviour was so frustrating they should have listened.

i can understand that some people cant watch it is censored but still see enough to be upsetting especially when you know what happens. i feel like that abuse ink bloke was to the nerds, what peado hunters are to the police Hmm although i could sense he felt strongly about it. i know it takes a certain person to be so cruel to something like a kitten.

Yes we watched eps 2 & 3 last night. What a sick fucker he is.

Absolutely brilliant and twisted. I dont want to say too much as dont want spoilers but oh my god.

I do think Netflix do a good documentary. And yeah they need to be more careful with the trailers coming up like they do.

I don't want to give away spoilers but the snake video... the mother raised a very good point about a possible second person. Why wasn't that explored or explained?

The details around that are a little hazy DependablePenny, some believe it was his neighbour's snake and he (the neighbour) is actually innocent of any wrongdoing.
Sounds likely given the internet detectives watched all the stills in the videos to give them clues as to his whereabouts, and they never mentioned it in the documentary.

I watched it all on Friday. Did I overlook something or am I right that nobody explained the third hand? I’m not suggesting he is innocent, he’s clearly a sick, sick murderer. Just curious - who’s hand was it?
