Anyone watching?

I love stuff like this.

@whyismysoullost I thought this too. Personally I’ve never changed a nappy in a cot and watching it I thought, oh no they’re going to get poo all over the bedding!

Pud2 · 11/12/2019 22:09

That farmer bloke singing “Swing Low” while the baby was crowning. I’d have to slap him!

She was screaming ‘sing’ at him so I don’t think he had much choice poor man!

Tiredandgrumpytonight · 11/12/2019 22:10

Looks like there’s an issue with their baby next week Sad

BerniesGirl · 11/12/2019 22:13

Oh I definitely missed her requesting it. Fair play then to him!

IWorkAtTheCheesecakeFactory · 11/12/2019 22:44

Just watching on catchup now. I’m surprised that syler and Mo were struggling so much for money. They were both working FT until baby was born and they live with sylers mum so their bills and living expenses will be very low! And tbh in their shoes I wouldn’t be buying a brand new crib if money is that tight. There are loads of great conditions second hand cribs around. They could have picked one up much cheaper.

Dad of 5- brutally honest. Grin
Mum of 5- cringe! Trying to pretend he’s not being truthful when he says he’d rather be at work. The man was showered, fed and dressed by 5:30 and bouncing out the door to work! Grin

IWorkAtTheCheesecakeFactory · 11/12/2019 22:49

Beanbag explosion! Shock

IWorkAtTheCheesecakeFactory · 11/12/2019 22:50

Also surprised Mo is speaking to Ace in english and not Arabic.

IWorkAtTheCheesecakeFactory · 11/12/2019 22:56

He looked mortified Grin

SleepingStandingUp · 11/12/2019 23:03

Caught up, remembered I could watch in my phone.
Impressed they didn't show the parental aftermath of bean bag explosion hahaha

Yeah DD of 5 is def glad to be out at work. Fair play, he does his share in the house too.

I suspect M and S didn't do much saving before Ace came tho so now minimim wage and basic mat pat - running the car and expenses for the baby, some money towards housekeeping etc. I guess it just gets swallowed. Fair play for him trying to find a way to earn more, thry weren't very supportive tho of his trying at least

IWorkAtTheCheesecakeFactory · 11/12/2019 23:07

I was really sad for mo when he said in the car it upset him that sylers mum paid for the crib, he wants to support his baby himself and feels he can’t say anything. He’s right- he can’t. He has no say there at all, does he? Syler and her mum decide what happens with ace, what gets bought etc. They do need to move out and granny needs to step back and stop interfering.

IWorkAtTheCheesecakeFactory · 11/12/2019 23:13

He really was asking the wrong people about his burger van. I hope he’s got some mates he can bounce that idea off.

IWorkAtTheCheesecakeFactory · 11/12/2019 23:20

Awww hermisha crying when shabazz went back to work! Sad i cried when my exp went back to work too. He was military and gone for a 6 month tour though. DS was 11 days old. I was scared of looking after him and toddler Ds1 on my own. Grin

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 11/12/2019 23:20

Where do people think Mo and Syler are going to move and how?Confused

IWorkAtTheCheesecakeFactory · 11/12/2019 23:23

Save and then move? Like most of the population do? Like all the other couples in the show? Confused

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 11/12/2019 23:27

They are very young, Mo is working minimum wage full time. Good luck with that saving! They clearly aren't in the financial position the other couples are.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 11/12/2019 23:31

Most of the population do not save and move, that's my point. Rents are astronomical along with the cost of living, they're are many people doing what Syler and Mo are doing because they have no choice or they're living in cramped accommodation.

IWorkAtTheCheesecakeFactory · 11/12/2019 23:32

Well they’ve money for scratchcards and cigarettes so they have got money they could save. They’re not paying market rent and bills at sylers mums. They’re in a far better position than many! I got pregnant at 18 while living at home and paying my keep. I was working FT. I started saving and moved into my own rental when baby was 4 months old. On my own. They’ve had two full time incomes for the 9 months of pregnancy to save from.

IWorkAtTheCheesecakeFactory · 11/12/2019 23:33

Admittedly I hadn’t bought 4 new cribs. I borrowed as much as I could. Needs must.

purpleme12 · 11/12/2019 23:59

So the best bit was at the end when the dad of Ramiyah just have fallen and he said 'bumbaclot!' I laughed so much! And no one's even mentioned it!

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 12/12/2019 00:02

Didn't he say 'blood clot' or was he censoring his language?Grin

purpleme12 · 12/12/2019 00:02

I have the subtitles on so it was definitely that!

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 12/12/2019 00:05

Did you see Jodie Whittaker the other night being interviewed saying subtitles had said she comes from Hoodazfield instead of Huddersfield?Grin

purpleme12 · 12/12/2019 00:08

Oh no I didn't!
Although bumbaclot is a good alternative swear word! 😆

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 12/12/2019 00:14

It's going to be my favourite from now on,it was hilarious, poor manGrin

titnomatani · 12/12/2019 00:17

Syler comes across as a spoilt teenager- her comments and eye rolls are so frustrating. She really doesn't look as if she likes Mo very much. His face when his burger can idea was rubbished was so sad.

Can I ask what bumbaclot means? I'm assuming it's a swear word but don't want to google in case I get all sorts of weird pop ups! Also, Baby Ramiyah is so big and alert for her age.

I think the farming couple are going to be my favourite- he looks so genuine and she seems so content. Hope their baby Peter is okay next week.

The parents of 5 are beginning to annoy me. The dad seems so distant from everyone. I feel sorry for his children if they ever watch the show as grown ups. It's clear he's following his wife's wants/needs and not his own. I hope that doesn't reflect in his parenting though.
