Just searched for a thread and can’t find one yet... anyone watching tonight?

Will they scream/cry/bitch/sleep/shower and dress up in silly clothes.

Or will they do it in a different order this year? Grin

The other two differences ( not sure if already mentioned) is that they have to use gas instead of burning wood on the fire ( due to the Bush fires in Australia) and that they can no longer eat living creatures due to animal welfare reasons.
The pumping the gas twice a day is easier than keeping the fire going, but that’s not down to ITV.

I don't see any awkwardness between Ant and Dec. They spoke very openly on the DNA programme about that period of their lives and said it has made their friendship more important than their professional relationship.

Loveislandaddict · 25/11/2019 16:00

I thought they seemed more natural last night then in previous episodes of this series.

CallmeAngelina · 25/11/2019 16:15

Re: Holly and "what's she wearing tonight," for me, that was "... and her stylist needs sacking!" She looked *terrible."

Everycloud12 · 25/11/2019 16:51

Given that they've all chosen to be there, are being paid a fortune and know that grouchiness doesn't go down well with the public, you'd think some of them would be able to tolerate a bit of "hardship" with more grace.

Everycloud12 · 25/11/2019 16:53

It was nice of Ian to go back in for JJ but it's not as though he was rushing into a burning building!

Wendyasbury · 25/11/2019 17:00

I don't see any awkwardness between Ant and Dec. I do think their double act is ageing a bit now & the whole gags & canned laughter is a bit old now.

OctoberLovers · 25/11/2019 17:30

I fast forward when they are talking.
Its awful. They get all that money for not even an hour of work....
Think they are boring

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/11/2019 17:35

I don’t watch the extra celeb

Didn’t know jo used to do the trails

What every one the following day ?

fishonabicycle · 25/11/2019 17:48

Will Ian get really cross about missing the roast dinner, after doing trials?

fishonabicycle · 25/11/2019 17:57

I think the reason they shut kate down was that she previously insisted on putting her name into the draw (to go to jail?) and then didn't want to do it when her name came up.

PermanentPortakabin · 25/11/2019 18:19

There’s an article in the Metro today which doesn’t exactly show James in the best light —understatement— and speaks volumes about his attitude towards women.

FreeBedForFlys · 25/11/2019 18:28

I’ve said all along that James is nasty. I bet he can get suddenly nasty too; I’m on edge watching him so god knows what he’d be like to live with.

TheChosenTwo · 25/11/2019 19:41

But @fishonabicycle she did do it and didn’t go back on her word despite not really wanting to do it!

fishonabicycle · 25/11/2019 19:45

There were other people who were happy to do it - I felt she just wanted to look good and was banking on not getting picked out of the hat. I don't dislike her though!

Lexplorer · 25/11/2019 19:52

Can't believe my colleagues this morning they all thought James was being chivalrous. They raised their eyebrows at my feminist 'rantings'. I need new colleagues...

BillieEilish · 25/11/2019 19:52

So who is NOT eating roast dinner, Ian and Andy? Is Andy Andrew? Or someone from Corrie? Sorry to be thick.

Anyone else noticed Ian constantly messes up trials and gets 'let off'

He did on the skyscraper at the beginning, today putting his hand in the goo AND another one, can't remember.

I had disliked Kate but she is growing on me, she must actually BE that nice!

Caitlyn is delightful.

Like Nadine a lot.

James thinks he will win and he won't.

Dementedmagpie · 25/11/2019 19:55

There are 3 of them not getting a roast dinner, Ian, Andy and cliff.

Dementedmagpie · 25/11/2019 19:56

Andy is from Corrie, not the Irish not very funny comedian that no one had seen ir heard of prior to being on I'm a celeb.

BillieEilish · 25/11/2019 19:58

Thank you SO much Dementedmagpie

Ian is going to go crazy, but that's why they did it!

Looobyloo · 25/11/2019 20:21

A petition has been started to get Ian his roast dinner. I haven't / won't be signing it for the spoilt brat!

Quartz2208 · 25/11/2019 20:21

Why was Ian so low though - James for all of that was happy to be top of the men above those in their 50s/60s. Have really lost all respect for him

soupforbrains · 25/11/2019 20:43

@Blondeshavemorefun yeah if it was a multiple person one then they usually rope one of the guests into doing it with him etc. And for celebrity cyclone they usually had the other extra camp presenters and both guests. Essentially he/they would do the tasks immediately after the celebs do them and then we as the public would see it in the show after we've seen the celebs. It was a good way of gauging how hard the trials were really and seeing whether or not the celebs were being useless or the trials were difficult.

I've just rewatched last night's I think James is being slightly unfairly slated.

I do agree that his tone of voice and aggression speaking to Kate was unacceptable. But assuming that without James the outcome would have been different is unfair as it was Myles and Ian who said the women should go first and the other men ALL agreed (possibly barring Andy because I couldn't see/hear him)

Also he didn't say let's cut the sexist bullshit he actually said lets cut the chivalry shit. I know it doesn't make a great deal of difference but imo he was trying to say that it wasn't about chivalry it was just their personal preference to put the women first. Which sort of doesn't make much sense.

Wendyasbury · 25/11/2019 20:45

I must be the only one who had no problem with James in that conversation. I like him.

OctoberLovers · 25/11/2019 20:51

I dont really see what James did wrong here....

But....

Im not keen on him... Theres something about him
