Going years into the future seemed pointless. Nothing has changed

Where do the walkers go while the Whisperers sit in their camp shaving each other's hair and looking demented? Do the Whispers just wait until the next hoard passes before they join them? And if they want to go somewhere specific do they have to wait until they see walkers heading in that direction? It's SO annoying to have all these questions!

This will be an unpopular opinion... this is one of my most beloved shows but I gave up halfway through the last series. It just lost it. Became repetitive and dull. Then I felt guilty for giving up on it

So I recently binge watched series 9 again and it got me interested. The Whisperers are freshening things up a bit. Now I am desperate to watch the new third episode. Alpha is a fascinating character, chills you to the bone.

Got a shock when I found this thread. It used to be so busy.

They rebuilt civilisation to an extent! They had four towns, trade, laws and jobs. They lived as families rather than gangs. I actually thought the seven years in the future thing was one of the most interesting things.

We watched Monday’s episode today! We were completely confused about which bits that Carol was in were real and which were hallucinations. DP is fed up with it but we keep on watching!

I gave up halfway last series but just before the new series started I binge watched it and loved it, I find the walking dead is best watched that way, it’s too slow otherwise.

Walking dead is one of the very few programmes I still watch weekly. This was because I didn’t want spoilers or hearing people talking about it at work. There’s not much chance of it these days

We’re sitting there getting bored throughout these episodes. Too much sitting about talking, super slow scenes and about 7 mins of actual action in the whole episode.

I've followed the show over the years have thoroughly enjoyed it. But these last few seasons have gone downhill, I'm just not invested in it anymore.

Every now and then we get something a little good, a reminder of how the show used to be, but for the most part it's become dull.

I don't think it has been as good since they all settled into town life and I think the character interactions are a bit off nowadays.

That all being said I'm still here and still watching, hoping that it'll get its spark back.
