I look like Granny Murray's granny!

Cappuccino · 29/07/2007 15:47

oh christ

she is younger than me

MaryAnnSingleton · 29/07/2007 15:47

I suppose she could feasibly be a granny

yes she also is in still game cast as a pensioner. (very convincingly) I read somewhere that she used to bf her baby whilst in costume and on set - used to give the crew the creeps apparently!

wotsits · 29/07/2007 16:08

I am one year older than her. I'm going to have to get DH to confirm that she looks older than me!

missgriss · 29/07/2007 16:10

I don't think she looks that old!

I must admit I much prefer her as Isa in Still Game. She cracks me up

Well I turned 34 a few weeks back and most peole guess my age a decade older so maybe I could replace her if she leaves?

pinkteddy · 29/07/2007 16:36

Granny Murray hosts the 24/7 child care service on Me Too, Cbeebies. You mean you haven't had the pleasure?! I love her in Still game too miss g - the last 2 episodes have been hilarious!

MaryAnnSingleton · 29/07/2007 17:20

What is Still Game though ?
I am miles older than Granny Murray - why is she called Granny, where are her grandchildren ?

just looked it up - must only be on in Scotland ! She looks totally different !

That's good to know. So I must ditch the colourful jumpers and the cheery smile to look signficantly younger. Are you sure she's only 36?

pinkteddy · 29/07/2007 18:31

Still game on BBC 2 10pm on Thursday evenings. Not just in Scotland, I live in South East! (think its BBC Scotland that make programme tho).

flightattendant · 29/07/2007 18:37

I have a complete and total phobia of this programme. It used to be on when I was in the worst of my morning sickness last autumn and every time I hear a note of the theme tune I feel like vomiting and have literally to leave the vicinity or I cannot cope

Bloody favourite game of DS1 to wind me up 'Mummmeee!!! But it's my FAAAAvourite!!!'

Little b*gger!! This is serious!

Thank god he goes to school in Sept and can't torture me any more.

flightattendant · 29/07/2007 18:38

God and that bloke with the funny eye!

AAAAARRRGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

MaryAnnSingleton · 29/07/2007 18:51

I like Raymond though - he's twinkly !

pinkteddy · 29/07/2007 18:58

I agree flight attendant, it is total crap! A poor relation to Balamory. The songs are awful, most of the characters make no sense at all - and how come Granny Murray works 24 hours a day - even my 3.10 years dd has worked out that is weird!!

Cappuccino · 29/07/2007 21:38

'that bloke with the funny eye'?

oh fab

you get a disabled person on television and you come on here and insult him

just feck right off

Peachy · 29/07/2007 21:49

Well said cappucino!

Howdydoody · 29/07/2007 21:56

I thought he was totally blind? Rudi isnt it?

Dearie me, FlightAttendant...surely you realised the actor who plays Rudi is blind? Lay off the bloke - he's great...I personally love his Liam Gallagher-inspired take on the "I'm On My Way" song.

catsmother · 29/07/2007 22:24

I never realised "Rudi" was blind. Until now.

MrsScavo · 29/07/2007 22:34

I always said she wasn't a day older than me. So I was wrong!!
