Breaking bad..

I’ve got it on dvd.
Any good? I’m on episode 3 and so far it’s not great.
I’ve heard it’s brilliant so should I persevere?

I’m lost without Game of thrones so im clutching at straws to find something brilliant.

I binge watched all seasons a couple of weeks ago. Best thing I've ever watched! Had a breaking bad come down for a few days after I'd finished it

Persevere! And then watch Better Call Saul, which is even better IMO.

Loved this series so much . Loved Hank and Jesse was so sad when it finished as I loved all the characters except Sky who annoyed me for some reason

Ah, Breaking Bad is my favourite TV programme ever. I do hope you persevered and managed to find the BB love.

Fantastic series. Incredibly funny in places.

DH and I became obsessed with BB. I've never been so invested in the TV show in my life.

Chin it off and watch The Wire instead.

Breaking Bad is one of the true greats. Speaking of being late to the party we've finally got around to watching The Sopranos and loving it!

My DH and I were also obsessed with this although it took me most of the first series to get into it. I think its possibly the best thing I've watched even though I actually despised Walter White. Gus Fring was the genius character for me, particularly the episode that told his back story.

Please stick with it, the best ever

BB is the best US TV series I've ever watched.
I've watched it 3 times now and might go again after reading this thread.
I almost gave up in the early episodes but my god, it is so good and well deserves its 9.5 rating on IMDB.

Keep watching. It's amazing.

Not gonna lie, I’m bored with it up till now, keep thinking that something is going to happen in it soon.
I’m at the part where jessie has his flat, they are back cooking and Sky is disappearing and smoking. There’s driving lessons and Hank has got a promotion after throwing the teeth in the river...
I’m bored, is it going to kick off soon?

I felt it was all anti-climatic and I wish I hadn’t stuck with it, so I agree with you.

I’d bin it off and try something else tbh.

You could always mix it up with the criminally underhyped "Better Call Saul" ...

Oh thank god, I seriously do not want this to be another “Lost” because I will be absolutely fucking fuming because I wasted my precious time on that bag of shite.

I loved it. One of my favourite ever tv shows. I know a lot of people didn’t love it till series 3 though.

It’s not always overly dramatic. Sometimes the drama comes from very subtle scenes but when you compare WW from what he was like at the beginning to how he ends up you see just how far it’s come.

I’m really really looking forward to it getting good. sO many people say how fantastic it is but up to now... it’s sll s not flat.

I’m jealous that you get to watch it for the first time! I didn’t think I would like it but it’s genuinely one of the best things I’ve ever seen on TV

I totally love breaking bad, Probably still my favourite series with line of duty coming a close second I think. Better call Saul is great but a totally different type of show and quite unusual in the way it is shot and stuff, it goes at a very slow pace but that is part of what makes it good.

Oh well it gets much better then! Dh wasn’t a fan so I carried on watching without him, then he got jealous of how obsessed I was and gave it another go and loved it.
It’s definitely no the wire, it’s not always loud bangs and shock appeal. Apart from the train episode maybe.

I love that they didn’t drag it out. It ended exactly when it should and at the peak of its success.
