@BlueThursday dd says they all think Lucie is awful for not being friends with the girls - there seems to be a real “girls together” thing in their age group and they feel sorry for Joe! They seem oblivious to the whole control thing. We have had words!

I just went on twitter it's more split than I thought....looks like joe has a fair bit of support/people think lucie isn't enjoying herself...I guess as far as the show is concerned as long as the couple is split they are out of the woods!

I think Tom will like Lucie as he said he likes girls who go to the gym. Maura was a bit disappointed when he said that.

In all seriousness LI provides great opportunities to have talks with DS (15). Literally just pausing and pointing out what Joe is doing, why it's wrong, etc. Talking about it.

It's all very well saying "don't be controlling!" But to have prime examples in popular shows that DS enjoys is a great teaching moment.

Voted for Anton and Lucie. But concerned Lucie will make a snap decision to leave as she will feel so isolated. Hopefully Maura will rally round her?

@Fairylea - I have a 15 year old dd and she thinks the opposite about Lucie. Interesting how different people are.

I just think that there is a culture of women being told to be suspicious of other women who like being friends with men.

If Lucie stays I hope Amy decides to leave her alone as she would then be aware that people wouldn't like to see her ganged up on.
