What happened at the end last night. Was nobody evicted?

itswinetime · 17/06/2019 10:55

But would it have been funny, a laugh if Amy had done it to her?

To Lucie yeah I think it would if she saw it as way to have fun and let it steam I don't think she would have been upset if people had focused on her. Everytime someone says it's dropped she seems to believe them. And from the look of her dress she was covered so I think she was happy getting as good as she got she just. The difference for us (or some of us I know we all have different opinions) with Amy is we know she hasn't let it go she brings it up at every opportunity so it would seem like it was done in malice.

Joe and Lucie Will be bottom the house will say it's because joe has doubts and no one else has! Not that joe isn't good for Lucie. I think it will be nearly a clean sweep apart from possibly tommy and MM but I'm not sure who else they would pick, and joe and Lucie who I think joe will push for Tommy and MM to remove the threat he won't say that though he will say it's because they have been on and off. Then it will go for a public vote, Lucie and joe will leave. Unless they mix it up and it's a 4 way vote with the 2 new boys and single girls and the bottom 2 in which case it will depend on the dates tonight.

Nesssie · 17/06/2019 11:00

@Gth1234

SPOILER

Maura and Anna weren't picked to be in a couple and then they got a text saying they were going on dates with 2 new guys and to leave immediately. Then it finished.

Shequakes · 17/06/2019 11:09

My son has aspergers.

If something is sorted to him its sorted and he will to back to doing things how he wants.

He wont change how he is and seems very confused when people try and tell him something, that isn't to do with them is wrong. He doesnt understand why, if something makes him happy, is such a problem for other people because it's not the 'norm'.

So I dont think it is a poor comparison at all.

Yamayo · 17/06/2019 11:11

How do we know they are doing the couple vote thing?

Shequakes · 17/06/2019 11:14

But would it have been funny, a laugh if Amy had done it to her?

It's slightly different though. Given that Amy made sure the 2 new women were given the low down on the situation, which is nasty, and did want them to make up their minds.

No it wouldnt have been ok. Because it would have been a continuation of hee behaviour.

I can really see what Lucy has done to Amy prior to this.

maybesheknewhim · 17/06/2019 11:22

I'm getting strong autistic vibes off of Lucie. I think she's extremely lovey but there are a lot of traits there.

Including her tone of voice, even.

FieldsOfWheat · 17/06/2019 11:24

Here come the armchair diagnoses lol

carmenbea · 17/06/2019 11:24

I also think Lucie is on the spectrum

The way she talks and walks and the mannerisms in general reminds me of my brother with Aspergers.

Love island should make sure she is ok and stop exploiting her

Sagradafamiliar · 17/06/2019 11:29

I wish these 'spectrum' comments would stop. I know I'm repeating myself but seriously. So wrong.

Shequakes · 17/06/2019 11:31

cant

Shequakes · 17/06/2019 11:32

Why is it wrong?

FieldsOfWheat · 17/06/2019 11:33

Most people would believe someone who told them an issue was squashed. It would be a bit paranoid to think "Well they said it was squashed but I don't believe them, they must be holding a grudge still!!!". If my friend told me something was sorted and then was bitching about me to people she'd just met, I'd be hurt.

PaperFlowers4 · 17/06/2019 11:36

I blame joe and his bloody lip fillers for the rift between Amy and lucie. It all seemed to kick off when Amy approached lucie to ask her to hang out more with the girls. Joe took this personally and got pissed off which in turn caused lucie to take it personally. I bet if Amy had said this to lucie without joe around there wouldn’t have been an issue.

Lucie is sweet and it’s really nice to see a girl in the villa with a natural face, but I hope she goes home soon. She’s obviously not enjoying the experience and it’s really boring to watch her crying all the time.

SlimGin · 17/06/2019 11:37

Just caught up (can't watch it Sunday/Monday eves as they're DPs days off and he hates LI).

The Amy/Lucie drama is quite tiresome now. I do feel like Lucie's getting a little ganged up on now just because she's not spending time with the girls, which is unfair. I feel for her, and can see her walking out. She probably feels trapped - can't have fun and chat to Tommy as everyone hates her for it (noticed MM didn't say anything to Tommy about being close friends with Lucie), feels like she's being forced to hang out with the girls, must stick with Joe because he'll guilt trip her if she tries to get to know another boy.

maybesheknewhim · 17/06/2019 11:40

Maura and Molly not acting in any way suspicious about Tommy and Lucie spending time together just goes to show there is F all there in a romantic way to Lucie.

But the other bitchy girls just cannot stand it.

cuppycakey · 17/06/2019 11:40

I also feel really sorry for Lucie. Amy just cannot let it go and just looks like a Mean Girl.

I have gone right off Amber too. Nasty little shit stirrer.

I agree with the PP who said they should do the activity where they have to guess who tweets are about. Obviously Amy will cry again, but maybe her hangers on will modify their behaviour?

I am so glad Maura didn't go, she is hilarious - like a pantomime character. Actually she behaves how I think Caroline Flack would behave Grin

FrustratedTeddyLamp · 17/06/2019 11:43

With the sherif and mentioning rape during a consent conversation i wonder what he actually said? I mean the word itself surely isnt a warnable offence in a " that wouldnt be consent it would be rape" kind of way.

Sagradafamiliar · 17/06/2019 11:43

I can't believe I'm answering this. It's wrong because diagnosing strangers based on watching them on an engineered to show is harmful to them, harmful to people with ASD, contributes to stereotypes and then you get people joining in because they agree that the said person 'isn't acting right' and therefore 'something is wrong' which feeds into the former.
As has been said before, Lucie's reactions are healthy and normal. It's being pointed out that her not being paranoid, not continuing grudges and not prolonging ill feeling is somehow defective when it isn't. The opposite is true.

Sagradafamiliar · 17/06/2019 11:44

So right, maybe

LimitIsUp · 17/06/2019 11:46

Also glad that Maura didn't go - not least because she is friendly with the much maligned Lucie

Sagradafamiliar · 17/06/2019 11:47

unique1986 · 17/06/2019 11:50

So what did Amy look like before the 20k! surgery?
Yikes

unique1986 · 17/06/2019 11:50

I wish we had extra clips online and longer eps every night!
We see so little.
