You get such a different impression on things when they stop following story lines and just show us what is happening. Lots of them seem to have more personality than I thought!

RagingWhoreBag · 15/06/2019 21:49

It certainly makes a bit more sense of the relationships when you see them messing about with each other on unseen bits. They seem to have much more of a laugh than it appears on the weekday shows.

StreetwiseHercules · 15/06/2019 21:51

“I think describing how your genitalia is responding to someone's looks on a date is vulgar.”

Why do you think that about a normal human instinct? Conditioning?

unique1986 · 15/06/2019 21:52

I noticed Tommys chest hair growing last night.
Shame he shaves it off.

unique1986 · 15/06/2019 21:53

I hate all the clothes they have to wear

NannyPear · 15/06/2019 22:00

I dont know how I feel about the Sherif situation. He accidentally kicked her then made a, rather vulgar, joke? Was it the language of the action that was the problem I wonder.

NannyPear · 15/06/2019 22:03

Oh and the latest rumour is Jane Park, the Scottish girl that won £1mil in the lottery aged 16 is going in. Sincerely hope that's not true.

unique1986 · 15/06/2019 22:13

Just googled the 1 million girl. Bosses have rubbished claimed.

carmenbea · 15/06/2019 22:14

By the look of the article about Sherif he left because of the comment rather then the action which sounded completely accidental.

ClubSandwich · 15/06/2019 22:24

I reckon it’s the comment as well, he goes on to say in the article that he was spoken to a few times, once for calling Amber ‘lighty’ (was this shown? I don’t remember seeing it if so?) and for using the word ‘rape’ during a discussion about consent. So I imagine the incident with MM was his final warning?

BenWillbondsPants · 15/06/2019 22:27

I think if he made those other comments then a) he was already on thin ice and b) he doesn't sound like a very nice chap.

NannyPear · 15/06/2019 22:28

Ah that makes sense club. I read another article and it didn't mention those other moments. Goes to show you the level of maturity from 20 year olds. I read think they should steer away from early 20s and younger.

DizzySue · 15/06/2019 22:29

@Birdrib

New episode every night except on Saturday when they show unseen clips from the week. There is no set episode for evictions or new people entering the villa, it's all very adhoc to keep us on our toes.

After Sunday nights episode there is 'aftersun' often with interviews with previous contestants etc.

tessiegirl · 15/06/2019 22:32

Has anyone noticed how Amy cannot walk in heels? Grin

ClubSandwich · 15/06/2019 22:32

I read the article on The Sun website. He also mentions one of the boys using the N word whilst rapping, wondering if he is referring to Joe?

ClubSandwich · 15/06/2019 22:39

The bit I read about him saying one of the boys was always rapping and using the ‘N’ word around him has now been removed from that article I linked to! I thought I’d read it somewhere else but can see the article was updated at 9.49pm so assume this bit has been removed for some reason Confused

CaptainBrickbeard · 15/06/2019 22:51

I thought the unseen bit showed some quite sweet moments between Mollie and Tommy. The main show just shows all these pointless naval-gazing conversations about ‘where is your head at, what are your feelings?’ ad nauseam but the Saturday show actually gives a glimpse into more natural interactions. It made me feel a lot sorrier for Mollie as she did actually seem to have a rapport with Tommy. Things change so quickly though; Tommy and Lucie are ancient history even though it’s only a week since they were the drama so I guess a new guy could come in and Mollie or Maura could be totally diverted again.

Amy and Curtis are so lacking in any kind of chemistry; it’s a bit painful to watch them. And I thought it’s a shame for Joe that all we’ve really seen of him is his clingy, controlling, obsessive side - it looked like maybe he can lighten up and have some fun on the unseen bits rather than being intense non-stop.

Allhailthesun · 15/06/2019 22:59

I don’t think it matters how much enhancement they have had, The point of the show and the interesting bit is do they “ stick” or “ twist”. The fact they are all incredibly similar is what makes it work. What do you do when all your choices are physically on a par and equally narcissistic as you?

Say they put in a physically and mentally amazing bloke whose leg has been blown off by a landline. It gets much easier to decide if you actually like “him” rather than his appearance. And recoupling doesn’t happen. They have to be as similar as possible so as to be interchangeable.

TatianaLarina · 15/06/2019 23:06

Humph.

RainbowPanda · 15/06/2019 23:48

He's also maybe heard of her before and her thirsty approach maybe tells him she's more interested in bagging a Fury than anything else.

I've noticed she actually calls him by his full name a lot so I had wondered this. If she was a ring girl then surely she must have heard of him? She might be fan-girling him and maybe he recognises this!!

GeriAtric · 16/06/2019 00:20

Tommy's brother has said in the past that he would hang his sister if he deemed her to be promiscuous. If that's the attitude throughout the family then Tommy will probably be massively turned off by Maura's forthrightness. Not that he can be judged by his brother's standards, of course, but very often attitudes run through families. I don't believe he's a 'sweetheart' at a, but maybe I'm missing something.

OkPedro · 16/06/2019 03:14

Calling him by his full name is IMO an Irish thing. I jokingly use a persons full name when talking them..
Tommy’s family sound emmm delightful Confused

HollySniffs · 16/06/2019 04:31

R.e. Tommy's attitude to women, I linked to an OK interview a couple of threads back with his ex where she says he was very controlling, didn't want her going out without him, didn't like her wearing too much makeup or short skirts. Treated her like property really.

Maura's approach, as cringetastic as it would be to most, was probably anathema to someone like him.

MoominMantra · 16/06/2019 05:21

'Calling him by his full name is IMO an Irish thing'

Yes, anyone remember in 'Gone With The Wind' where Scarlett's dad calls her 'Katie Scarlett O'Hara' ?

RainbowPanda · 16/06/2019 06:41

But they don't show her calling anyone else by their full name?
