Maybe the older people commenting just don't understand about plastic surgery.

Filler makes things bigger not smaller. Filler cannot make a nose smaller it can only add volume if there is a bump then the bump can be made straighter but the nose will not be any smaller only surgery can make things smaller.

If she had filler in her chin it would obviously be an even bigger chin than the large chin she already had... but it's now smaller so is her nose and her breasts are bigger

Her nose is very different. The tip is more turned up now.

I think Maura has just lost a lot of weight, and had her lips done. Everything else is the same. She's clearly not had breast implants because she's very flat chested, you could see in her bikini.

I'm not sure of what difference it makes though or why some folks are so obsessed with what the women have had done. Who cares. Let's face it, they are all attractive women, irrelevant of whatever work they have had done. They can present as they wish. It's their choice

Also everyone arguing about her looking the same. Maura is friends with Olivia and Maura herself has stated that she spent 20k on plastic surgery

Her mum is saying she only has lip fillers because Maura probably told her mum that

and Maura would have to explain to her mum where she got the 20k she spent on surgery from... when promo girls earn as much as a waitress does

so she probably didn't tell her mum about all of the surgery and the money she has herself admitted she spent on surgery

If she hasn't had her nose and chin and boobs done then what exactly has she spent the 20k on because she says herself she spent it on surgery

FFS has nobody heard of contouring?! Make up, lighting, angles, filters, all can be used to create dramatically different effects on faces. As can surgery, fillers etc. Who cares?! None of these girls are natural (no, not even Lucie or Yewande!! Both have someone else’s hair stitched onto their heads and both wear make-up, just not necessarily in the same OTT style as the other girls.

Pages and pages of bickering about who has or hasn’t had surgery. It’s just boring!

Take a look at the before and after pic of contouring. Nothing except make up. This is what the young uns do these days! (As well as Botox/fillers etc)

It was money well spent because she is very good looking even if she didn't look like that originally and it got her into LI

If she still had her old face before surgery and she still had no boobs she would not have got on

The girls all have implants apart from yewande

We can all see Maura on tv without makeup and she has had surgery she admitted it herself so I don't get why other people are denying it for her

When she leaves the villa it will be in ok mag about her transformation and how much she spent etc

I don't like Maura's behaviour in the villa but I dislike all the comments about her appearance. Those saying she looks awful without makeup are particularly unkind. And then we wonder why young women turn to plastic surgery? To me she looks absolutely fine without makeup, as they all do.

Did she say it to you personally or was it reported in a tabloid?

I agree with pp that I find the obsession with what women have had done weird. The subtext seems to be a wish or belief that women are only attractive because they’ve had surgery. It’s a bit ridiculous.

Maura was attractive whatever and it looks to me like she’s only had her lips done.

To be honest I have had my nose done and my boobs reduced.

I dont give a shirt about wether she has or not. I am simply saying I think she has and it's quite obvious.

I don't think it's about 'better looking' it's about having certain look. I do think that it's not great for younger women, to be shownthat you must like this way or these features are what makes you attractive.

But in general I dont give a shit what work women do or dont do.

They all perfectly normal to me. There are plenty of naturally good looking people on the world. I don’t think you need implants or surgery to get on the show.

Indeed Tatiana. And knowing that they're going on the show and will be judged on their appearance may well motivate some to have procedures beforehand. A bit of Botox, fillers, extension, veneers. I'm pretty sure no one has a natural tooth colour in there. I remember Eyal last year with his bright white top teeth and yellowing bottom teeth 😂

I mean I think it’s sad that such young girls feel the need, and I suppose it is important to resist the idea that to be ‘stunning’ as defined by Instagram ‘influencers’, Love Island etc etc you have to have had some work done. I also just really dislike the lip filler look anyway (either despite or because of my own notably tiny mouth, not sure! ).

But in general in the context of watching the show/this thread - I really don’t care. They look how they look, I don’t think Maura has had all that much done but if she has she has. No interest in hashing over before/after pics. It’s her batshit behaviour that I’m interested in!

They don't want normal people on the show they want people who are above average. That's the point of it

just don't get how people can argue with the basics of plastic surgery and deny Maura or any of the others have breast implants

Not keen on all the surgery chat either really.

Mainly because I was always a 6-8 now 8-10 with big boobs (natural). And the amount of shit and accusations of surgery/bitchy comments I used to get. Always from other women.

It just reminds me of that.

I get my teeth whitened because if I didn't I'd be the only one in my friendship group who doesn't do it

I had braces when I was younger but if I hadn't I would get veneers as no one wants horrible teeth

If I had a spare 20k I'd get plastic surgery too I'm not against it

But anyways. Maybe some people just do not understand about the impossibility of fillers making your nose and chin smaller
