I am watching the moon landing programme that I recorded for dd2. She has become space obsessed. I am thinking I might have to take her to Jodrell bank in the holidays (she's been before, but it was a few years back), The Lovell telescope is very impressive 'in person' .

I missed the tornado, somehow but we know someone who was very close to a tree that landed near the M60! Very scary. Can't believe how much rain there was.

It's funny, I've not really been to JB that often, considering how close it is.

I went to visit a friend over the weekend and noticed she had a Zara tap in her kitchen, it was hard not to giggle.

We've got a largish tap in our kitchen, but the sink is in front of the window so not as imposing.

raahh I misread "tornado" as "tomato"! A whole new thing....violent tomatoes devastating the M60.

It is hot here but not unbearable. I am so grateful I don't live in the SE any more. We don;t get such horrid extremes here. I have a sea breeze. We walked a bit of coast path this morning and it was stunningly beautiful. Tomorrow is surfing. I am blessed.
