Those are DEFINITELY not Boston accents. They don't sound like Guy Martin there

The story was a bit far fetched but Rob Lowe is easy on the eye and it's nice to see a town I know well on the telly. DD who was born and bred Boston is disgusted with the accents . She's announced she's going to cut off someone's head and put it in the freezer because that's what's expected of her now.

But, as we know form watching The Bay, anywhere North of -say- Peterborough is 'generic Northern accent'.

Do we think the mum on the wind turbine lived or died?

Is Rob Lowe so desperate for money he is doing any old stuff? Or do the Americans think this will be the British Fargo?

Lived Lincoln most of my life, watching with mum who's lived there all of hers - we both thought the accent sounded right. They are more dilute these days because of TV, influx of people from wider areas etc.

Dilute? Lol. Obviously those of us that live here and were born here are wrong and you're right... The accent in Lincoln is very different. We're in the fens here. People moving in hasn't changed the accent of anyone whose family has been here years duk.

I enjoyed it. An easy watch. I particularly enjoyed the countryside, various people's views (going on about foreigners taking jobs - cabbage picking (that no locals would want to do). Loved it when the Police Woman answered the polish guy back in fluent Polish!!!

Yes easy watching. I can't keep up with massses of characters and complex plot lines.

That was quite amusing, I liked it.

Caught up with this last night, I enjoyed it. An easy watch, I liked the daughter and the fluent Polish speaking lady cop. Did i see Dave coaches off Gavin and Stacey in the briefing room?

Just watched it on catch up during my lunch hour and I think I liked it! Particularly liked the overweight lady cop "I am not fat. This is prime Lincolnshire Pork!" And she turns out to be the best of the bunch. Hoping that the DCC-far-too-young-to-be-in-that-job gets her comeuppance for sharing that video in the next episode

And I LOVE Rob Lowe - one of those who has definitely got better looking as he's got older.

I enjoyed it. I think of it in terms of New Tricks and the Coroner.

Its not meant to be super clever. The crimes are merely a backdrop to the relationships and characters.

I'll be tuning in again later!
