It's just made me think that Tommy probably hasn't had good role models in his life. Also I think they are travellers who tend to have a patriarchal approach to women (remember that thing where young guys 'grab' women they like the looks of?)

@MoominMantra no MIL is a traveller so DH grew up on gypsy sites, learnt to drive at 12 and went to work with them all, a lot of bad stuff happens between different family's with the men in their community! And they all hear about it so he knows all about the fury family etc! Hence why DH moved away and didn't marry a gypsy woman 😂

@MoominMantra I think his brother is very good to his wife but you are right the wife just has the baby's and keeps the home x

@HJWT there's a big difference between how light skinned black women and dark skinned black women are represented in the media. Amber is light skinned which is portrayed as more desirable than dark. Hopefully Yewande finds a man to disprove this!

@HJWT oh I see. Marrying into a family who kind of have a reputation for violence would be intimidating for me at best. I imagine the girls on love island will have no idea about these anecdotes 😬

I agree with PP the new guy will go for Lucie or Yewande IMO. I think amber is going to struggle as she is very immature and full of herself.

I don't think Yewande has a connection with anybody because she is far too intelligent for the lads. It's intimidating for them..and dull choices for her!
I'm sure she isn't the type of girl that wants to come home from work and discuss how her future bf's biceps have grown half a cm from all the working out they have done!!

I agree about Yewande.

I like Yewande but I don't think she is stunning. And I don't think it's fair to blame it on racism either as she isn't making moves on any boys either. You can't help who you fancy at the end of the day. That article also says the same for Samira who I actually thought was very closed off and quite bitchy.

I didn't warm to Samira at all. And Yewande isn't getting any air time because she is probably not doing anything interesting just like Callum! I don't find her attractive either

I don't think yewande is attractive and i forget she is even there tbh. But I'm definitely not racist. My opinions have nothing at all to do with her skin colour!
