@WithAllIntenseAndPurposes I very very much doubt that, he is a traveller/Gypsy at the end of the day, his dad and brother would of nearly killed him over that, they very much believe in 'jinxing' so he would of got beaten for it.

Not to mention in his community all the traveller girls would fall at his knee's so doubt he needs to try & get girls attention 🤣

Yes I didn't like Amy last night, I'm glad Curtis calmed her down & reminded her that Molly-Mae is new & nervous & asked Amy to be nice to her.
I agree Moomin, Amy was acting like Joe was about Lucie!
I've just read that Callum apparently quit his job to go on Love Island! I hope he's ok & can get back into work quickly.

I agreed with Amy last night - it had only been one day for Joe and Lucie so Joe's behaviour was over the top, whereas for Amy and Curtis it had been nearly a week. Not saying that a week is a long time per se but if you're with someone 24/7 and sleeping alongside them and kissing etc then I think she does have a right to feel upset. None of the other boys were in that kind of couple, yet Mollie-Mae had chosen him, so I understand Amy being pissed off with it and being suspicious of M-M's motivations.

That said, I believe Mollie-Mae was told to pick Curtis as otherwise I think Michael or Anton are much more her type and who she would have chosen for herself.

I didn't think Amy was that over the top tbh it was strange that she picked the only guy in a good couple but I think molly was asked to do that by producers to cause drama as the show is so dull this year.

Joe gives me the creeps he is so controlling Lucie looks genuinely uncomfortable around him sometimes.

I really think Joe has lip fillers.

I think a lot of the drama this year might come from Amy. Yes she's lovely at the minute but last night might have been a hint as to why she has never been in a relationship. Curtis will probably give it a good try but she seems like she'll cause problems in the long run.

God I hate Joe.

Amy at least seems more spontaneous than Curtis.
I find him very scripted. The way he takes the right people aside at the exact right time to add to the 'storyline'.
Notice how much more screen time he's getting compared to all the others?

I'm starting to feel slightly sorry for Joe. I think they've been told different things by the producers and he is being sacrificed as the new Adam.
Tommy is way worse IMO. Feeding all the girls the same lines...

It's not been nearly a week for Amy and Curtis has it? It was only a couple of days by the time molly went in. Amy said as much, she "knew it was only two days but"

I think molly picked Curtis as the safe option to get thr gossip.

I think the no boyfriend story has been made up for attention personally

HollySniffs Zampa i should be! Just had a bad anxiety attack they believe i went to go to sleep and suddenly panicked my pulse rocketed and after i thought i calmed myself down i felt like my pulse was irregular and its weird to explain but two of them. Others said it was fine but felt too anxious to sleep so went a&e just in case. They checked me with an ecg, chest x ray and bloods and they were fine but my pulse was high ( i have major white coat syndrome anyway) so they gave me some saline and some diazepam it came down some so they sent me home saying they felt it was anxiety, gave me diazepam for the weekend and advised me to see my GP and they'd send a letter! In my relief and tired brain i managed to get a doctors appointment straight away ( very strange indeed) then realised duh they wouldnt have got the letter yet but hes referred me to either a 1 or 3 day ECG just in case as my pulse has rocketed before. Once i got home i couldnt keep my eyes open i was watching tv to relax but then suddenly id be opening my eyes and the programme had moved on and i was like Huh??? So after 6 hours sleep i still couldnt!

Oooh can I join? I personally think they need to do a mass dumping next week and bring in some newbies- there is very little chemistry between the originals! I like Molly-Mae, she seems confident and actually went round and spoke to everyone, which is surely the whole point. This lot seem very keen to divide into boys and girls all the time - I know that does happen but usually at the start in particular they mix a bit more. I like Curtis too as he seems very good at breaking tension although it's possibly a mistake to couple up so early on as he has done with Amy - the public may well get bored with them quicker.

Yeah I don't think there is much there between Curtis and Amy. He has gone for a safe bet for now.

I'm bored with Amy & Curtis already. Amy seems very needy. The thing about Love Island is that couples who appear to be getting on well can and do get split up weeks into the show and Amy was quite unreasonable to say she wouldn't hug Molly etc. If she's that sensitive it's probably not the best show to be on.

As for LI, i finally managed to catch up and the coupling wasnt dramatic! I noticed about Amy how she acted about curtis and MM! I find it hard to feel bad for Callum going as we saw nothing from him! Watching two episodes one after the other really highlighted how little we saw of him!

My opinions changing on Amber at the start she seemed a bit up herself ( im a 10 for everything etc) but i like how shes not taking any crap from anyone who are trying to use her to stay in. I think with the second choice thing she may struggle relying on newcomers but i don't see much hope for her in there currently either i like Anton for her though i think!

Glad Michael stayed, hopefully we'll see more of him, hopefully the Lucie/ Tommy/ Joe triangle dilutes now as shes directly chosen him twice and MM is there and others get some screen time! but im still meh about joe he doesnt seem nice!

I would love to see a spin-off Love Island with over-thirties in.

They used to put over 30s in- they had Marcel in a few years ago who was 32 at the time,
I think they’ve had a few at about that age. It’s only the last couple of years they’ve gone strictly early to mid 20s.

Has anyone else heard that there was supposed to be a plus sized girl in the villa but she pulled out at the last minute because she didn't want to be the token 'larger' person?

There hasn't really been much diversity thinking about it. I don't think there have been any red heads for example, or alternative types, and no Asian people either. Correct me if I'm wrong. They all look very similar though.

I agree about Amber - I didn’t like the whole 10/10 thing but the way she dealt with Tommy, not taking his scraps, she went up in my estimation! I like that she’s not simpering over any of the blokes so far, she knows her worth.

It must be a strange experience to go from being the most attractive person in your world to being one of many on Love Island. Given their age and lifestyle so much depends upon their "sexiness" and they have little to rely on in terms of life experience.
