Hail survivors of The Battle of Winterfell.

The 'mysterious' episode 4 premieres tonight.

Who will be with us at 2am?

I am desperate to find out if Arya's kill is openly discussed and acknowledged, or does Bran take the credit, or does it remain a mystery.

Given Emilia Clarke has said Episode 5 is the one for which we will need 'bigger television screens' what will lead up to it?

I was hoping ep4 was an aberration but I’ve now read the leaks (obviously won’t be saying what they are) and it’s just all shite.

It’s like D&D just ran out of energy and couldn’t be arsed Angry

Iambuffy · 08/05/2019 17:58

Anyone have a link to the leaks?

I've tried to be strong but....

itswinetime · 08/05/2019 18:00

I'm another one that thinks I need to know now prepare my self

Abra1de · 08/05/2019 18:02

People seem to be complaining of bad plotting and storylines rather than actual wording?

WeirdCatLady · 08/05/2019 18:07

Just go on twitter or reddit and search game of Thrones leaks, they all say pretty much the same thing....unfortunately.

CaptainBrickbeard · 08/05/2019 18:16

The ending will be crap if you read it in a leak! And it will rob the episodes of all their power. They’re called spoilers for a reason - they will spoil the show entirely and drain any enjoyment from watching.

You can’t get the thrill and the excitement from reading a leaked synopsis. The greatest show or book would be crap if all you read was a synopsis. If you strip away the magic of the storytelling, you will have nothing left.

I don’t think it’s fair to write off the ending as shit based on a leak. I bet it comes across a thousand times better if you watch it play out!

cottonwoolmouth · 08/05/2019 18:21

I’m on reddit and hardly see anything that could be authentic. Plus it could just be some anon weirdo looking for attention

itswinetime · 08/05/2019 18:28

I haven't read anything yet and I do still have some hope for the ending but Im at the point I think I'd rather be prepared if they are wrong and it turns out better then that's good. I'm someone who reads the last chapter of books anyway so I don't think knowing ahead of the episodes would spoil anything for me if they are good episodes and there is a good storyline to them then I will still enjoy it.

WeirdCatLady · 08/05/2019 18:31

I’d really love the leaks to all be wrong Grin

ElspethFlashman · 08/05/2019 18:32

On r/freefolk (the one with the great memes) there's a sticky post that has all the leaks. I haven't gone into it. But apparently they have been a bit hit and miss. Don't treat them like gospel.

Actually the reason I haven't bothered spoiling myself this year is cos I did last year and 50% were bollocks! 😂

SweetSummerchild · 08/05/2019 18:44

The leaks for the ending sound quite strange but they do actually sound very like GRRM. I haven’t read any of his other books, but there is one Youtuber who has and he’s constantly comparing A Song of Ice and Fire to GRRM’s other stories. There are things that come up again and again and one of the leaked endings does seem to fit with his style.

Wrongdissection · 08/05/2019 18:47

I overall liked the episode but the Bronn scene was dreadful. It was like Jerome Flynn couldn’t get the words out fast enough. He was like a caricature of the character he had previously played.

When I read that there had been 3 moments that left D&D openmouthed (burning Shireen, Hodor plus one more) I had wondered if number 3 would be the fact that Bronn did in fact do what he had been paid to do and take out both Lannister brothers. That for me would have been in keeping with his character. He’s a sellsword. He’s made no bones about it and the fact that everything he does he does for himself and what he can gain from it. But I think if he was going to do it then he should have done it straight away. Tyrion would have once again counted on something that wasn’t there (like with shay) ie a friendship that meant more to Bronn than whatever he had been paid and he would have lost his life this time, the way he almost did when he was let down by Shay. It would have showed his naivety.

But what we were left with in that scene was just dreadful.

I read that the ghost scene was about saving money. John and ghost together doing green screen stuff would have been too costly. Which is pretty poor.

ElenadeClermont · 08/05/2019 18:47

I hated the leaks as well. Say no more.

SweetSummerchild · 08/05/2019 18:50

The whole of season 7 leaked as well - in the October before it was aired.

The leaks were spot on. Everyone said they were pans - particularly the part about Jon being called Aegon.

The leaks were all spot on.

Everyone said that the wight hunt was so ridiculous it couldn’t possibly be true.

It was true. It was ridiculous.

GRRM’s ending will be spoilt by D&D and that will be spoilt by Kevin the Tea Boy.

GRRM’s Magnum Opus will be spoilt by Kevin the Tea Boy. There are no words......

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 08/05/2019 18:57

I really don't want to know the leaks. I bet some fucker manages to spoil it.

Maybe Bran turns up on a big fuck off dragon he has been incubating under that wheelchair.

Or Arya goes apeshit and wipes out the whole of humanity.

I still like the idea that Bran wakes up and it was all a dream....

SweetSummerchild · 08/05/2019 19:10

YoureAllABunchOfBastards so you don’t want me to tell you that Hot Pie ends up on the Iron Throne?

SweetSummerchild · 08/05/2019 20:35

Strawberrypancakes I’ve just seen it! Yes, does look spoilery.

To be honest, Pilou’s ‘leak’ is nothing if Dany’s ending turns out to ‘fit in’ with the interview that Emilia Clarke did in Vanity Fair last year.

Leontine · 08/05/2019 20:40

I’ve read the leaks and I’m glad that I did so that I don’t have to be raging about it in the middle of the night after I’ve watched it.

I can’t see how anyone is going to be happy with that conclusion - or that D&D have managed to fuck it up quite so badly.

Oh and I’m not sure if someone else has mentioned it earlier but it’s been confirmed that Alys Karstark is dead and they just cut her death scene. I echo what @weirdcatlady said. It really is like they just can’t be bothered. And the whole Starbucks cup thing says it all.

cottonwoolmouth · 08/05/2019 20:43

Leo your out of order for that. I suggest you ask for your post to be deleted because most people AVOID leaks because they don’t want it spoiled for them.

Arse.

NotMyPuppy · 08/05/2019 20:51

I haven’t read the leaks so I’ve no idea but I read that post as saying Alys Karstark is dead but the scene will never be shown as opposed to it’s a spoiler of what’s coming up

OrianaBanana · 08/05/2019 20:51

I am guessing Varys is agonner now if he’s walking around talking treason about the Mad Queen. A fairly minor character (unfortunately, think he’s been a bit sidelined) so he’s easily disposable.

As for Bronn walking into a Winterfell at war with a big fuck off crossbow - wtf Confused

QueenintheNorth7 · 08/05/2019 20:55

Just please let Jamie kill Cersei and go back to Brienne and Jon/ Aegon end up on the throne.
🙏
