So Hastings makes some huge errors in judgement which is super uncharacteristic. He doesn't think to HIDE THE MONEY. Wtf? That's so not Hastings. I just felt the tone with Hastings was so so off.

For such a senior police officer Ted has behaved like an amateur, what a numpty.

Ted is either pretending to be “H” or they have just done something really odd with his character this season. I have just come off a binge fest of series 1 to 3 and he just seems so out of it this series.
I wonder if his innocence will be proven and then he will retire?!!
